This research aims at investigate the critical thinking ability of pre-service mathematics teacher at Madura University. The instrument used in this research was using the Watson-Glaser Test with the mathematics content. There was 48 pre-service teachers who participated as the subjects in this research. This research used statistic descriptive method to identify the profile of critical thinking ability of pre-service mathematics teacher. The scores from each sub-skill and the total score were calculated to identify the profile of critical thinking ability of pre-service mathematics teacher. Based on the data analysis, it was found out that the critical thinking ability of pre-service mathematics teacher was in the intermediate level, yet deduction sub-skill became the best pre-service mathematics teacher?s critical thinking ability and recognition of assumption skill became the lowest pre-service mathematics teacher?s critical thinking ability.

This research aims at describing, the evaluation of policy and Itâ€™s Development to the Implementation of the National Movement of the Quality of Cacao Plants Improvement at Sigi Regency. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected trough observations, interviews, and documentations. This seven informants were taken through purposiv sampling. The resulth show that the Evaluation of Policy and Itâ€™s Development to the Implementation of the National Movement of the Quality of Cacao Plants Improvement at Sigi Regency Â is still not optimal, It mostly influenced by some faktors: 1) effectiveness aspect was still low, 2) efficiency aspect was will low 3) adequacy aspect was low, 4) Equalization aspect was still low, 5) responsiveness aspect was still low 6) Accuracy aspect was good.

ABSTRAK Pengelolaan air limbah domestik di Kota Cirebon dari rumah tangga, perkantoran dialirkan melalui sistem perpipaan ke 4 lokasi instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL). Kondisi keempat IPAL terlihat kurang terawat dan operasional pompa tidak kontinyu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas IPAL secara keseluruhan maupun pada masing-masing unit, dan kendala yang dihadapi. Lokasi penelitian efektivitas IPAL, pengoperasian dan kualitas air inlet dan outlet dari IPAL. Dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada 2 (dua) IPAL; yaitu: IPAL Kesenden dan IPAL Perumnas Selatan. Pemeriksaan kualitas air terbatas pada parameter BOD, COD, dan Bakteri E-coli. Alat yang digunakan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kualitas air menggunakan alat yang ada pada laboratorium, sedangkan analisa data dengan cara analisa perbandingan antara kualitas air sebelum diolah dan setelah diolah dibandingkan dengan baku mutu yang berlaku. Sistem pengolahan pada IPAL dengan kolam oksidasi yang terdiri dari kolam anaerobik, kolam fakultatif, dan kolam maturasi. Dari hasil penelitian, pembahasan dan analisis serta merujuk pada tujuan penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: telah terjadi pendangkalan di kedua IPAL, masih ada kapasitas tidak terpakai (idle capacity), penurunan BOD sangat signifikan tetapi masih di atas ambang batas, penurunan COD sangat signifikan dan sudah di bawah ambang batas, efektivitas penurunan BOD dan COD baik pada setiap kolam maupun secara keseluruhan cukup tinggi, efektivitas pengolahan secara keseluruhan pada IPAL Perumnas Selatan lebih tinggi dari pada IPAL Kesenden, dan operasional kedua IPAL belum optimal yang disebabkan oleh adanya beberapa pompa yang rusak, kurangnya pengamanan terhadap IPAL, dan masih sedikitnya pelanggan air limbah. Optimalisasi kedua IPAL tersebut direkomendasikan dilakukan pengerukan dasar kolam secara berkala, peningkatan jumlah pelanggan air limbah rumah tangga dengan promosi kesehatan dan penambahan saluran air limbah, pengamanan lokasi IPAL, pembersihan eceng gondok, penanganan kolam yang bocor, dan meningkatkan kualitas operasional IPAL dan anggaran pada pengelolaan air limbah secara umum di Kota Cirebon. ABSTRAK Kegiatan industri menghasilkan polusi yang dapat menjadi tekanan pada lingkungan, dan kebisingan adalah salah satu bentuk dari polusi yang dapat menimbulkan tekanan lingkungan dan akan berdampak secara fisik maupun non fisik kepada manusia sebagai bagian dari lingkungan. Respon terhadap tekanan lingkungan kadang memunculkan konflik lingkungan. Kegiatan pertambangan termasuk dari kegiatan industri pengguna peralatan mekanis yang pasti akan menghasilkan suara, suara dari kerja alat akan terdengar hingga ke lingkungan sekitar dan akan berdampak mengganggu jika suara yang diterima di lingkungan sekitar melebihi batas baku yang ditetapkan. Penilaian tingkat kebisingan tidak hanya berdasarkan besaran fisik namun diharapkan dapat menununjukan respon serta persepsi dari ketergangguan yang dirasakan masyarakat akibat kebisingan yang sampai ke lingkungan pemukimann. Dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa kegiatan penambangan batu andesit di Desa Jeladri Pasuruan mengakibatkan tingkat kebisingan yang sampai kepemukiman sekitar melebihi batas baku yang ditetapkan dan alat crusher dianggap paling mengganggu saat malam hari di saat masyarakat akan bersantai atau istirahat. Kata Kunci: Industri, Polusi, Kebisingan, Batas Baku, Lingkungan Pemukiman ABSTRACT Industrial activities generate of pollution which may become pressure to the environment. Noise is a form of pollution that can cause environmental stress and will affect the physical and non-physical to human beings as part of the environment. Response to environmental stress often raises environmental conflict. Mining activities is one of industrial users of the activities of mechanical equipment that will certainly produce the sound. The voice of the working tools will be heard up to the surrounding environment and will affect the sound annoying if received in the neighborhood exceeds the standard limits set. Assessment of the level of noise is not only based on physical quantities but it also can be assess by knowing response as well as the perceived perception of society due to environmental noise. From the results of this study that the mining andesit activities in the village of Jeladri, Pasuruan East Java the result show that noise levels to exceed the quality standards established, crusher equipment is considered the most disturbing at night when people would relax or rest. Clay lumps on the aggregate levels is one of the factors that may cause disruption of the binding process andhardening of concrete. Clay lump can not blend with cement so that blocking a merger between the cement withaggregates which eventually led to the compressive strength of concrete will be reduced in the absence ofbinding to each other. SK SNI S-04-1989-F, the allowable levels of clay lump maximum of 5% to fine aggregate(sand) and maximum of 1% for coarse aggregate (split).In this study to determine the effect of the clay lump on the fine aggregate content on compressive strength ofconcrete on five (5) variations levels of the category of clean clay lump with content of 1% and 2%, medium claylump 4% and dirty sand with levels 7 % and 11%, whereas for the coarse aggregate clay lump content was0.7%.From the results of a study of 90 cylindrical specimens showed that the small amount of clay lump, the higherthe compressive strength of concrete. Concrete compressive strength test results on average with dirty clay lumpcontent was 31.30 MPa, compressive strength for the concrete medium with clay lump levels were at 33.92 MPaand compressive strength for the concrete clean of clay lump 36.68 MPa. Compared to the dirty clay lump anincrease in the levels of average compressive strength for moderate levels of 8,37% and the clean sand of17,19%. Besides affecting in compressive strength, clay lump levels also affect the weight of concrete, andconcrete density. The greater the level of clay lump, weight of concrete and concrete density will be lower.Compared to the dirty clay lump an increase in the levels of average concrete density for moderate levels of 6,54% and the clean sand of 12,59%.

Concrete paving blocks are the choice for road and urban roadâ€™s surfacing. Besides their ease inapplication, they also provide design freedom by coloring off the material.Of major importance is their compression strength. The Indonesian SNI categorizes strength to theirpurposes i.e., for parking areas, pedestrian walking areas and heavy industrial estates.According to the SNI 03 â€“ 0691 -1989 and British Standard BS 6717:1986 the strength of a paving blockis determined by the maximum carrying capacity under distributed load. The blocks are placed under acompression apparatus, and the compression strength at failure is recorded.As being observed in the field paving blockâ€™s failure pattern differs as to the failure under distributedloading. The pavingâ€™s failure mode is distinguished by a bending failure plain at the smallest crosssection.The BS EN 1338 code proposes a different approach. This paper will discuss the methods being used inthe BS EN 1338 code, and evaluates the effectiveness of Indonesian standards to date.

Vitrification is consideredÂ as the most appropriate technology for HLW treatment.Â However, it has constraints, those are processability, economic, and durability. The purposes ofÂ this study are to examine the composition of materials using bottom ashÂ as an alternative glassfrits for vitrification, to assess waste glass durability of selected glassfrits and analyze the economic advantage of bottom ash utilization as glassfrits. This research was conducted with simulated High Level Waste. Glassâ€“waste was melted at its melting point. GlassesÂ used in the study were borosilicate glass, bottom ash glass, and bottom ash glass addedÂ B2O3.Â ParametersÂ usedÂ forÂ selectedÂ glassfritsÂ areÂ meltingÂ temperature,Â leachingÂ ratecompressive strength and cost analysis. Selected glassfrits was analyzed using XRD and performed tests to determine the effect of pH on leaching rate. The results indicated that the addition of B2O3 in glass bottom ash reduced the melting temperature. This glass has a density of 2.78 g/cm3 , leaching rate of 6.99 x 10-7. Utilization ofÂ bottom ash as a glassfrits can save 75, 34% of cost. The results of XRD analysis explained that the devitrification formedÂ a crystalline of Ca-Fe-Al-S-Si-O, Fe+2Fe2 O4+3, Ca-Mg-Fe-Ti-AlSiO. the influence of pH on the leaching rate showed that the highest leaching rate was at acidic condition Keywords: vitrification, chemical durability, mechanical durability, bottom ash

Semarang bagian bawah lapisan tanahnya didominasi oleh lapisan tanah Aluvial yang lunakÂ sehingga Â terus mengalami Â pemampatan. Â Kondisi Â tersebut Â mengakibatkan Â kota Â Semarang Â bagianÂ bawah Â berpeluang besar Â mengalami Â dampak Â lingkungan Â disebabkan Â penurunan Â tanah, Â salah Â satuÂ dampaknya adalah banjir pasang laut atau rob. Rob merupakan fenomena yang menarik yaitu banjirÂ terjadi Â tanpa Â adanya hujan. Â Berdasarkan Â kenyataan Â tersebut Â perlu Â dilakukan Â penelitian Â mengenaiÂ penurunan Â tanah Â dan prediksi Â penurunan Â tanah Â di Â Semarang Â bagian Â bawah. Â Penelitian Â iniÂ menggunakan data pengukuran titik-titik tinggi tanah kota semarang dari tahun 2000 sampai denganÂ tahun 2010 . Berdasarkan serial data tinggi berbasis Digital Elevasi Model (DEM)/model permukaanÂ dijital dan perilaku muka laut, Â kemudian dianalisis menjadi model matematis berupa peta digital yangÂ akan Â digunakan Â sebagai Â dasar Â Â untuk prediksi Â genangan Â rob Â yang Â Â setiap Â saat Â terjadi Â sepanjangÂ tahun. Abstract At integrated farming areas Bangka Botanical Garden Pangkalpinang treating some of solid waste mixed with biogas digester will be used as fuel gas stove. Existing conditions in the dairy cattle by using the solid waste with 132 kg / day means at least they still used solid waste of 5 cows, so the biogas produced only 1 m3 / day. This paper is studyng about the energyâ€™s need, economic and environments aspec in solid waste treatment to biogas and also about biogas management to provides the electricity need in the BBG Farm. The study is descriptive. The data have been taken from observation, measurement and interview with the farmer as the informan. Biogas produced can be used as lighting 60-100 watts for 50 hours, the driving source of energy 1 PK for 17 hours, producing 39 kWh electric energy and be able to cook 3 dishes for 40-48 servings. To produce 39.48 kWh / day, it can be used as a source of electrical energy BBG farm that has 35 lights with 25 watts of power which is lit for 12 hours / day. Up for lighting requires 10 kWh / day. For milking machine with 0.55 watts power usage requires 1.1 watts 2 times the rest can be used as a motor to move the water pump, lawn mower and activity classification. The BBG Farm need to increase the efficiency of utilization of biogas digester or biodigester everaging 1 unit abandoned and improve lighting installation connection using biogas. Abstract The dyeing and printing processes in textile industry produces wastewater containing residual dyes. The most widely used textile dyes are azo dyes. The textile industry is one of the main industries in West Java province, where one of the textile industry centers is Majalaya textile industry center. Majalaya textile industry center had begun since the 1910s, where in Majalaya subdistrict located the most textile companies which produced textile wastewater. Textile wastewater which contained azo dyes discharged into the Citarum Hulu River directly or after treatment in the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) owned by the company. One of the product metabolites produced from azo dyes biodegradation by bacteria in anaerobic conditions are various anilines. Several anilines which are persistent, could flow to downstream of Citarum Hulu River. Various anilines, referred to as total anilines, could be analyzed by the colorimetric method using visual spectrophotometer. Total anilines in water samples after biodegradation by anaerobic bacteria was 14.46 mg/l highest. While total aniline in river water samples was 3.58 mg/l highest. And at the downstream of Citarum Hulu River, there was total of aniline 1,825 mg/l highest in the river sediment samples. DO in the river water samples were 4.25 - 7.8 mg/l, while pH of the river water samples were 7.1 - 10.7. The occurence of total aniline in textile wastewater and river water samples in Citarum Hulu River (Majalaya subdistrict) and in river sediments at the downstream of Citarum Hulu indicated biodegradation of azo dyes from textile wastewater by anaerobic bacteria.
