Abstract

Internet of thing (IoT) merupakan suatu konsep yang bertujuan untuk memperluas manfaat dari konektivitas internet yang tersambung secara terus menerus. Internet of thing (IoT) bisa dimanfaatkan pada gedung untuk mengendalikan peralatan elektronik seperti lampu ruangan yang dapat dioperasikan dari jarak jauh melalui jaringan komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun perangkat remote control dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet untuk melakukan proses pengendalian lampu berbasis mobile. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membangun sebuah prototype dan aplikasi berbasis mobile menggunakan bahasa pemrograman python. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat fitur kendali yaitu kendali satu lampu yang digunakan untuk menghidupkan satu lampu dan kendali dua digunakan untuk menghidupkan lampu secara bersamaan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari siswa-siswi SMK Syadam. Abstract

This study aims to describe the managerial capabilities of kindergarten principals in improving the quality of early childhood education. The golden age of children, ranging from 0 to 6 years, is a critical period that shapes cognitive, socio-emotional, language, and motor skills development. Therefore, the success of early childhood education largely depends on the leadership quality of school principals as educational managers. This research used a library research method by analyzing relevant journals, scholarly articles, and books. The findings show that kindergarten principals with strong managerial skills effectively carry out management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC). Additionally, principals play multiple roles as educators, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, and motivators. These roles significantly contribute to teacher performance and the overall quality of learning in the school. Previous studies confirm a positive and significant relationship between principals' managerial competencies and both teacher performance and student learning outcomes. Effective principals are able to create a positive school climate, implement participatory leadership strategies, and build synergy among teachers, parents, and external stakeholders. In conclusion, the improvement of early childhood education quality is strongly influenced by the managerial capacity of school principals, which includes a range of strategic roles in educational management. Therefore, ongoing training and capacity building for principals are essential efforts in developing the overall quality of early childhood education institutions. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Masa emas anak usia 0–6 tahun merupakan periode krusial yang menentukan arah perkembangan kognitif, sosial emosional, bahasa, serta fisik motorik anak. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan pendidikan anak usia dini sangat bergantung pada kualitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai manajer lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research), yang dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal, artikel ilmiah, dan buku yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah TK yang memiliki kemampuan manajerial tinggi cenderung berhasil menjalankan fungsi manajemen: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan (POAC). Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga berperan sebagai guru, administrator, pengawas, pemimpin, inovator, dan motivator. Peran-peran ini terbukti mendorong peningkatan kinerja guru dan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Studi-studi terdahulu mengonfirmasi adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru serta capaian pembelajaran peserta didik. Kepala sekolah yang efektif mampu menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif, menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan partisipatif, serta membangun sinergi antara guru, orang tua, dan pihak luar. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan mutu pendidikan anak usia dini sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah yang mencakup berbagai peran strategis dalam manajemen pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan dan penguatan kapasitas kepala sekolah menjadi langkah penting dalam pengembangan kualitas PAUD secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

The cultural approach in learning mathematics connects abstract concepts with everyday life, helping students understand mathematics meaningfully. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematics of the Seleman Kerinci’s Larik Panjang house, identifying mathematical contexts in real-world applications. Using an ethnographic approach with qualitative research methods, data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and interviews. The primary data collection instrument was the researcher, supported by observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. The study began with a literature review and geometric material analysis, followed by data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal mathematical elements in the house’s architecture, including: (1) plane figures such as triangles, rectangles, and rhombuses; (2) solid figures like octagonal prisms and rectangular beams; and (3) transformations involving reflection and rotation. These mathematical aspects demonstrate the integration of indigenous knowledge into architectural design. Ethnomathematics in traditional architecture is expected to serve as an engaging learning medium, making mathematics more relevant to students while preserving local wisdom as part of the nation’s cultural identity. This research contributes to the development of contextual mathematics education, highlighting the importance of cultural heritage in shaping mathematical understanding.

Abstract

The research method used is normative law, which is research that examines legal documents as the main source with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through a literature study covering fatwas, books, journals, and related documents. The results of the study show a phenomenon of misuse of the live streaming feature in the TikTok application, specifically by displaying self-harm content in order to obtain gifts from viewers, which is haram because it contradicts the words of Allah in QS AL-Baqarah 195. This practice not only violates moral values but also contravenes the principles of Sharia. Furthermore, this action contradicts the main objectives of Islamic law (maqasid al-syariah), particularly in terms of protecting life (hifz al-nafs), intellect (hifz al-'aql), and property (hifz al-mal). Gift-giving in this context can no longer be categorized as a valid gift, as it is fraught with emotional manipulation and aims to support prohibited acts. Therefore, such transactions are not permissible under Islamic law and need to be regulated and monitored by the authorities to prevent them from continuing.

Abstract

Educational quality is one of the important factors that determine student learning success and school progress. SMA IT IMBOS Pringsewu, as an integrated Islamic school, strives to continuously improve its educational quality. This study focuses on how SMA IT IMBOS Pringsewu implements educational quality management through the PDCA stages. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews with the principal, curriculum vice-chancellor, student affairs vice-chancellor, teachers, as well as documentation and direct observation. Data were analyzed descriptively to describe how the quality management process is carried out in the school. The results show that at the Plan stage, the school has developed a vision, mission, quality policy, success indicators, and a strategic plan developed through deliberation with the management team. At the Do stage, implementation is carried out through strengthening a quality culture among teachers and staff, professional training, and implementing student-oriented learning. At the Check stage, the school routinely monitors teacher and staff performance, uses student learning outcome data, and conducts internal quality audits and stakeholder satisfaction evaluations. Meanwhile, at the Act stage, the school carries out follow-up actions by revising strategies and SOPs, implementing systemic changes, rewarding good practices, and disseminating best practices to ensure the quality culture continues to develop.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) bukan sekadar kewajiban akademik, melainkan ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadirkan ilmu pengetahuan ke tengah masyarakat. KKN UIN Suska Riau di Desa Rambah Baru mengangkat tema “Warna-Warni Pengabdian di Desa Rambah Baru: Dari Edukasi hingga Kreasi” sebagai gambaran keragaman program yang dijalankan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, mahasiswa merancang kegiatan yang menjawab kebutuhan lokal: mulai dari pelatihan pembuatan sabun ramah lingkungan, edukasi kreatif mewarnai totebag, hingga sosialisasi anti-bullying dan cyber security. Tidak hanya itu, program kesehatan ternak, edukasi menabung, eksperimen gunung meletus, serta berbagai kegiatan keagamaan seperti mengajar PAI, Magrib Mengaji, dan pembelajaran di TPQ maupun MDTA turut memperkaya pengalaman bersama masyarakat.Tujuan KKN ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan, menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial serta kepedulian lingkungan, mengembangkan potensi lokal, sekaligus memperkuat kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat desa dalam menciptakan keberlanjutan pembangunan.Hasilnya tampak nyata: keterampilan ibu-ibu meningkat, anak-anak lebih kreatif, kesadaran lingkungan tumbuh, serta masyarakat desa semakin solid dalam kebersamaan. KKN ini membuktikan bahwa pengabdian sederhana dapat melahirkan dampak besar, mempertemukan ilmu dengan kearifan lokal, sekaligus menumbuhkan semangat kemandirian dan keberlanjutan desa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe mathematics anxiety, the factors that cause it, and the mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students based on Polya's stages and the level of mathematics anxiety. Using a case study approach with qualitative methods, the research involved 66 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 24 Padang, with 14 selected as subjects representing low, moderate, and high levels of anxiety. The instruments used include math anxiety questionnaire, math problem solving test, and interviews. The results showed that: (1) 68.2% of students experience moderate anxiety, 18.2% low, and 13.6% high; (2) Students' math anxiety is due to difficulty understanding formulas, exam pressure, and low self-confidence and doubts about abilities which affect motivation and performance; (3) Students' abilities at Polya’s stages vary, with 61% able to understand the problem, 44% able to devise a plan, 8% able to carry out the plan, and 6% able to look back; (4) Students with low math anxiety able to follow all stages of Polya. Cognitively they are able to strategize logically, somatically there is no physical disturbance, and attitudinally they show high self-confidence; (5) Students with moderate anxiety show variations in ability. They understand the problem, but procedural errors often occur. Somatic symptoms such as tension disrupt focus, and attitudinally appear hesitant and lack confidence; (6) Students with high anxiety are only able to understand the problem. Their cognition is limited, somatic symptoms such as trembling, and attitudinally they tend to be afraid of failure and reluctant to try.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the legal understanding and awareness of the people in Laut Biru Village, Kabila Bone District, regarding the importance of marriage registration and lawful divorce procedures based on positive law and Islamic law. The implementation methods included lectures, group discussions, case simulations, and legal consultations involving religious leaders, village officials, and the general public. The results indicate a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the necessity of marriage registration, lawful divorce procedures, and the protection of women's and children's rights. Prior to the program, most community members believed that physical separation was sufficient to end a marriage; however, after the educational sessions, their understanding shifted to appreciate the importance of formal legal processes. The involvement of religious leaders and village officials also strengthened the local legal advocacy network. Although there are still challenges such as administrative and cultural barriers, the participatory and collaborative approach has proven effective in fostering a sustainable legal awareness culture. This community service experience is expected to serve as a model for other villages in developing a law-abiding, just, and dignified society in accordance with positive law and Islamic principles.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of the abacus skills training management model product designed to improve the competency of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. Product feasibility assessment is carried out through validation tests by design experts, material experts and language experts, practitioners and then the results are in FGD. The assessment results show that the product received a score of 78.50% from design experts in the "decent" category, 85% from material experts in the "very feasible" category, and 80% from language experts in the "very feasible" category. Overall, the average model feasibility value reached 81.2%, which is included in the "very feasible" category. These findings indicate that the abacus skills training management model has significant potential to be implemented in supporting the competency development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. It is hoped that this model can be an innovative solution in improving the quality of learning in madrasas

Abstract

Civics subjects develop three important domains in students, namely: attitudes, skills and knowledge. One of the instruments in learning that contributes to developing these three domains is learning resources. One of the learning resources relevant to PPKn is the local wisdom of the Indonesian people. This study aims to explore Sasak local wisdom that can be used as a learning resource and its relevance to junior high school PPKn material. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The type of research is classified as ethnograpy research. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using an interactive model consisting of: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are that all junior high school PPKn materials are relevant to Sasak local wisdom. That is, every junior high school PPKn material can use Sasak local wisdom as a learning resource. The form of relevance consists of two types, namely; content relevance (substantive) and value relevance (valuative). Substantive relevance means that Sasak local wisdom is relevant to junior high school PPKn material. The valuative relevance means that the values in Sasak local wisdom are relevant to the values in PPKn junior high school. So, it can be concluded that Sasak local wisdom can be a learning resource for junior high school in PPKn subject that can develop students' knowledge and character.
