Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode question based discovery terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik SMAN 21 Makassar. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan dimensi metode question based discovery dan konvensional, sedangkan variable terikatnya adalah keterampilan proses sains. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA SMAN 21 Makassar sebanyak 8 kelas. Sedangkan sampelnya adalah kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang dan kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil posttes keterampilan proses sains berupa posttes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor keterampilan proses sains pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 31.5 dan 21.9. Hasil analisis inferensial bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik antara yang diajar dengan metode question based discovery dengan yang diajar secara konvensional pada taraf signifikansi . Kata kunci : Discovery, question based discovery, keterampilan proses sains

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik SMA Negeri 21 Gowa tahun akademik 2017/2018 dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 93 peserta didik. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes pemahaman konsep dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 23 soal dan telah memenuhi kriteria valid. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa skor pemahaman konsep fisika berada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 51,61%. Sedangkan Berdasarkan Grafik pengkategorian pemahaman konsep terdapat perbedaan pada setiap indikator. Pengkategorian pemahaman konsep tiap indikator pada peserta didik memiliki persentase tertinggi untuk indikator menjelaskan yaitu sebesar 2,61 sedangkan persentase terendah adalah mengklasifikasi yaitu sebesar 1,12.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap ?Apakah pemahaman matematis dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diberi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dari pembelajaran biasa di SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment (Eksperimen Semu) dengan rancangan eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol pretest postes desain, Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan dengan masing-masing subyek penlitian 40 siswa baik kelas control maupun kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan secara umum siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mencapai kualitas kemampuan pemahaman yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Sedangkan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mencapai kualitas kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Matematis, Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, dan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Abstract : This study aims to reveal "What mathematical understanding and problem solving mathematical students who were given a problem-based learning is better than learning at SMP Negeri 3 Samalantan" The method used is Quasi Experiment (Experiment ev) with experimental design with a control group pretest posttest design , research was conducted in class II SLTP 3 Samalantan with each subject study grade 40 students both control and experimental group. Data analysis results show generally students who received problem-based learning models achieve quality capabilities better understanding than students who received regular learning. While students who received problem-based learning models achieve quality mathematical problem-solving abilities are better than students who received regular learning.  AbstractThis study aims to find out the visual thinking of students who have visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning style for statistic material especially in the statistical data presentation sub-topic in Junior High School Pontianak. The research method used in this study was descriptive method. The study subjects were 32 students from class IX B. The subjects of this research were determined based on the students’ learning style and the consideration of the math teacher. The data analysis result showed total 37,5% students have visual learning style, 37,5% students have auditory learning style and 25% students have kinesthetic learning style. Overall, the visual thinking of students’ who have visual, auditory or kinesthetic learning style is in low category. Kata Kunci: Visual Thinking, Learning Style, Statistic

AbstractThe ability of problem-posing is very closely related to problem-solving. The problem-posing ability of students has not been satisfactory, so researchers are interested in studying more deeply about the ability of problem posing in terms of student's learning outcomes. This research used a descriptive research method with survey research. Subjects of research were grade IX students of Pontianak Gembala Baik Middle School in the academic year 2017/2018 totaling 33 people who were then divided into three levels according to their learning outcomes, namely high, medium, and low levels. Data collection techniques used in this study were test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics. Based on the results of research conducted, seven students entered the high learning outcomes group, 19 students entered the medium learning outcomes group, and seven students entered the low learning outcomes group. The ability of students to pose problems is directly proportional to the student's learning outcomes. Students with low learning outcomes tend to make reconstruction categories and uncategorical. Students with medium learning outcomes tend to make problems in the category of reconstruction and reformulation. High-level learning outcome's students tend to make reconstruction and imitation categories. Kata kunci: Cuboid, Problem posing, Student’s Learning Outcomes

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penemuan terbimbing berbantuan media graphmatica terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian Control Group Only Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan uji t menggunakan program SPSS 17.0 for windows diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.031 <  0.05, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan metode penemuan terbimbing berbantuan media graphmatica dan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan metode ekspositori. Berdasarkan  perhitungan Effect Size, diperoleh nilai effect size sebesar 0,53 yang artinya menggunakan metode penemuan terbimbing berbantuan media graphmatica memberikan kontribusi sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Penemuan Terbimbing, Media Graphmatica Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of media-assisted guided discovery method graphmatica on student learning outcomes in a quadratic function of matter in class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya. The method used is Quasi-Experimental Design with the study design Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sample in this study were students of class X MIA 1 as a control class and X MIA 2 as the experimental class. Based on t test using SPSS 17.0 for Windows obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.031 <α = 0.05 which means that on average there is a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were given a guided discovery learning method aided graphmatica media and students who were learning to use the expository method. Based on Size Effect calculations, the value of the effect size of 0.53, which means using the media-assisted guided discovery graphmatica contributed were the results of student learning. AbstractThis research aimed at analizing the ability of the students? mathematics representation on linear program materials after analizing the students? mathematics disposition and having cooperative problem solving model. This research was qualitative research with quantitative data as a tool to describe the students? achievement result. The research subject was the 8 students based on the lowest pre test result from the students of XI MIPA2.The research was conducted for once meeting. The delivering of lesson materials used cooperative problem solving model to the students with pedagogic treatment in the form of micro didactic. The observer who was from the mathematics education background of knowledge also stayed in class during the learning process. The data which had been collected were the implementation of cooperative problem solving, the students? learning activity, the students? ability on mathematics representation and disposition. Based on the research result, it could be concluded that cooperative problem solving model could increase the students?ability on mathematics representation and disposition. This could be proved by the increasing things as follow: First, the 8 students?ability on mathematics representation which was from the pre test average score 44,00 became 77,43 on post test. The total students who achieved the passing grade were 0 student from 8 students (0%) became 6 students from 8 students (75%) who completely passed the passing grade. Second, the students?ability on mathematics disposition was considered good/high. The average score increased from 54,50 (68,13%) became 61,00 (72,19%).Key Words : The Ability on Mathematics Representation, The students Mathematics Disposition and Cooperative Problem Solving Model

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa, pemahaman konsep siswa serta  hubugan antara kemampuan penalaran induktif dengan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi operasi hitung pecahan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian korelasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu tes kemampuan penalaran induktif dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan kemampuan penalaran induktif dan pemahaman konsep siswa termasuk pada kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase masing-masing 37% dan 38% serta berdasarkan uji korelasi product moment menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positf antara kemampuan penalaran induktif dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi operasi hitung pecahan.  Kata Kunci : Kemampuan penalaran induktif, pemahaman konsep, operasi      hitung pecahan  Abstract: This research aims is determine student’s inductive reasoning ability, conceptual understanding of student’s as well as the correlation between student’s inductive reasoning ability and conceptual understanding in fraction arithmetic operatons of grade VII of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive with correlation research form. The subjects in this research are 34 students. The research instrument used are inductive reasoning ability tests and conceptual understanding ability test. The results of data analysis showed that the student’s inductive reasoning ability and conceptual understanding of included in the very low category with persentages respectively 37% and 38% as well as by product moment correlation test showed that there is a positive relationship between the students inductive reasoning ability and conceptual understanding of the fraction arithmetic operations.  Keywords : Inductive reasoning ability, conceptual understanding, fraction arithmetic operations. AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness used of the teams games tournamenttype of cooperative learning model on arithmetic sequence and sequence material in the 11thgradeSMKN 1 Pontianak. The research method was experiment and the form of was pre-experimental design with one shot case study.30 students of 11th AK 4SMKN 1 Pontianak were taken as the research samples.Indicators used to determine the effectiveness of learning using the teams games tournament type of cooperative learning modelare : student?s learning activity, student?s learning outcomes, and student?s responses. Data collectiontechniques usedare documentation techniques, measurement techniques, observation techniques, and indirect communication techniques. The data collectiontoolsare,the student?s learning activity observation sheet, the student?s learning outcomes test and student?s responses questionnaire. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi siswa dalam merepresentasi lukisan lingkaran menggunakan jangka, busur dan mistar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Banyaknya sampel penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa merepresentasi kelompok atas memperoleh klasifikasi sedang dengan yaitu rata-rata skor 60%, kelompok menengah memperoleh klasifikasi rendah dengan rata-rata skor 43,66% dan kelompok bawah memperoleh klasifikasi sangat rendah dengan rata-rata skor 35,41% terhadap skor potensi maksimum yang dapat diperoleh siswa 100%. Ada perbedaan kecermatan siswa dalam melukis. Siswa kelompok atas cenderung lebih cermat dari kelompok menengah maupun kelompok bawah. Kata Kunci: Potensi, Merepresentasi, Lukisan Lingkaran Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the students in the painting represent the circle using a compass, bow and crossbar in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive method with the form of a case study. The number of samples of this study is 34 students. The result showed that the students' ability to obtain classification represents the top group was with an average score of 60 %, medium-sized group to obtain lower classification with an average score of 43.66% and below the group to obtain the classification is very low with an average score of 35.41 % of the maximum potential score that can be obtained by students 100 %. There is a difference in the precision of the students in painting. Student groups tend to be more careful on the middle class and the lower group. Keywords: Potential, represent, Painting Circle
