Abstract

This article analyzes the obstacles faced in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Jomblang 03, Candisari Sub-district, and provides solutions to overcome these challenges. Using a descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed to identify obstacles and formulate solutions. The study found that SDN Jomblang 03 has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in grades 1, 2, 4, and 5, shifting the focus from teacher-centered to student-centered learning. Despite progress, obstacles such as limited resources, difficulties in formative assessment, the need for curriculum development, challenges in parental and community involvement, and resistance to changes in learning culture persist. The findings suggest positive potential for the Merdeka Curriculum but highlight significant barriers. Proposed solutions include optimizing resources, training teachers in formative assessment, providing clear curriculum development guidelines, fostering active parental and community involvement, and effectively communicating the benefits of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The availability of picture storybooks is a crucial component of early childhood education. This research aims to describe and analyze the needs for storybooks among Kindergarten students through a questionnaire. At an early age, play is an essential activity that supports children's cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development. The storybooks used in this process must have specific characteristics that captivate children's interest while aligning with educational objectives. The research methods employed include observations, interviews with kindergarten teachers, and content analysis of popular storybooks among young children. The findings are intended to serve as a foundation for developing educational materials, particularly picture storybooks that facilitate play-based learning for kindergarten students. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of educational resources available to young learners, ensuring they are both engaging and educationally beneficial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan program pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Teknologi Industri (SMKTI), yang mencakup: (1) angka partisipasi lulusan Jurusan Mesin, Elektro, dan Bangunan pada industri utama dan unit produksi, dan (2) indikator pasar tenaga kerja lulusan pada waktu mendatang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tenaga kerja lulusan SMKTI Kota Bandar Lampung. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Untuk mengetahui indikator prospek pasar tenaga kerja lulusan SMKTI digunakan persamaan Grip dan Heijke (1998). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pada unit produksi, jurusan teknik mesin mempunyai angka partisipasi 0,66 sampai 0,76 (efektif), jurusan teknik bangunan mempunyai angka partisipasi 0,58 (efektif), dan jurusan teknik elektro mempunyai angka partisipasi 0,36 sampai 0,43 (tidak efektif). (2) Indikator pasar tenaga kerja yang akan datang bagi lulusan SMKTI = 4,66. Indikator ini menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan SMKTI tidak efektif.Kata kunci:      efektivitas program, angka partisipasi, indikator pasar tenaga kerja lulusan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1. menggambarkan dan merancang prosedur pengembangan model penelitian berperspektif gender, 2. mengembangkan dan menghasilkan model pe-nelitian berperspektif gender, dan 3. menghasilkan karakteristik model penelitian berperspektif gender. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan mengadaptasi model penelitian pe-ngembangan  dari Borg dan Gall. Prosedur pengembangan dilakukan melalui sepuluh tahapan, yaitu: 1. studi pendahuluan, 2. perencanaan model, 3. pengembangan model awal, 4.uji coba model awal, 5. revisi model awal, 6.uji coba scope terbatas, 7. revisi uji coba scope terbatas, 8. pengujian model akhir, 9. revisi model akhir, 10. diseminasi dan implementasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, checklist dan dokumentasi. Data  dianalisis secara kualitatif  dengan  teknik analisis kualitatif  fenomenologi (grounded) dan dilengkapi dengan analisis gender model HARMOS (modifikasi dari teknik analisis gender model Harvard dan model Moser). Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Pengembangan model penelitian berperspektif gender dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi model penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Borg dan Gall. 2. Menemukan model  penelitian berperspektif gender  yang secara spesifik menggunakan analisis gender model HARMOS (modifikasi dari analisis gender model Harvard dan model Moser) dan pedoman aplikasinya. 3. Menghasilkan karakteristik model penelitian berperspektif gender.Kata kunci: pengembangan, model penelitian, perspektif gender______________________________________________________________DEVELOPING  A MODEL OF RESEARCH WITH GENDER PERSPEKTIFAbsrtact The objectives of this study are: 1). to describe and to design the procedure of developing a model of research  with gender perspective,  2). to develop and to produce  a model of research with gender perspective. 3) to produce model's characteristic of research with gender perspective.This research is  a research and development  using the research model adapted from the Borg and Gall.The  development was carried out through ten stages, namely: 1. preliminary study, 2. planning  models, 3. developing the  initial model, 4. testing the initial model, 5. revising the initial model, 6. testing it with limited scope, 7.  revising the limited scope testing result, 8. testing  the final model, 9. revising  the final model, and  10. dissemination and implementation. The study used the qualitative research. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, checklist  and documentaries.  The data were analyzed using the qualitative analysis techniques called Phenomenology and   gender analysis of the HARMOS model. The results are: 1. The development of the model of  gender perspective in the research  is carried out using model  by Borg and Gall model. 2. Producing the model of the research  with gender perspective  that specifically used gender analysis HARMOS model  and its manual 3. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengembangkan model evaluasi diri dan teman sejawat (EDTS) dalam supervisi pembelajaran IPA berbasis lima domain sains (5 DS); 2) mengevaluasi pembelajaran IPA berbasis 5 DS dalam supervisi melalui model EDTS; 3) menguji keefektifan model.Objek penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri 7, 11, 14, 15, 19,  29, dan 32. Model EDTS dikembangkan melalui penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Subjeknya adalah guru sendiri, gurusejawat, dan kepala sekolah. Alur pelaksanaan evaluasinya adalah: guru sendiri dan guru sejawat mengobservasi kegiatan pra pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran. Data observasi divalidasi oleh kepala sekolah, ditindaklanjuti dengan diskusi, dan dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan feedback dan evaluasi diri. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) model EDTS melalui pendekatan ANTRANINPRO (Antacedent, Transaction, Interim Product), dikembangkan dengan metode R&D; 2) Model EDTS disusun untuk memperkuat pelaksanaan supervisi di sekolah, melalui dukungan informasi yang diberikan guru kepada kepala sekolah; 3) berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, diperoleh penilaian kurang baik pada item yang terkait dengan 5DS, terutama domain kreativitas dan aplikasi sains; 4) model EDTS efektif untuk digunakan, berdasarkan data: validitas model (sangat baik), validitas konten (96% relevan), reliabilitas (kriteria baik), model memberi kemudahan user untuk menggunakan, serta memberi dampak positif terhadap perbaikan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: model evaluasi, supervisi pembelajaran, lima domain sains______________________________________________________________EVALUATION MODEL IN THE TEACHING SUPERVISION OF NATURAL SCIENCES BASED ON FIVE DOMAINS OF SCIENCE Abstract The purposes of this study are: 1. deeveloping a self and peer evaluation model (EDTS model) in the teaching supervision of natural sciences based on five domains of science (DS 5); 2. evaluating the teaching in supervision of natural sciences based on five domains of science (DS 5) through EDTS model; 3. measuring the effectiveness of this model. The objects of this research are SMPN 7, 11, 14, 15, 19, 29, and 32. The EDTS model was developed through research and development (R&D). The subjects are teachers, teacher's peers and headmasters. The steps of the evaluation were: teachers and teacher's peers observedpre learning activities and learning processes. Observation data were validated by the headmasters, followed by discussion and feedback and self-evaluation. The results of this research are: 1) EDTS models through ANTRANINPRO approach (Antecedent, Transaction, Interim Product) is developed by the R & D method; 2) EDTS model is designed to strengthen the implementation of supervision in schools, through the support of information provided by the teacher to the headmaster; 3) Based on the evaluation, items associated with 5DS are considered not so good, especially the domain of creativity and scientific applications; 4) EDTS model is effective to be used, based on the data: the validity of the model (very good), content validity (96% relevant), reliability (good criteria), the model gives the user easiness to use, and gives a positive impact on learning improvement.Keywords: models of evaluation, teaching supervision, five domains of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan pola dan mengukur intensitas hubungan antar-kelompok siswa etnis Melayu, Dayak, Tionghoa, dan Madura di empat sekolah swasta berbasis etno-religi (ethno-religio segregation/E-RS) di Kota Pontianak: SMA Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman (Melayu-Islam), SMA Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen (YPK)[Dayak-Nasrani], SMA Kristen Immanuel (Tionghoa-Nasrani, Konghucu, Budha), dan Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Al-Anwar (Madura-Islam), berdasarkan sikap dan perilaku berprasangka (prejudice) dan stereotip terhadap etnis dan agama. Metode campuran kualitatif-kuantitatif digunakan pada tahap penelitian. Pada tahap pengembangan rumusan model pendidikan multikultural diuji melalui diskusi kelompok terbatas (Focus Group Discussion/FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa sekolah E-RS menampilkan pola-pola hubungan antarkelompok etnis-agama yang khas, seperti ethno-sentrisme, cinta-benci (approach-avoidance) dan benci-cinta (avoidance-approach), saling membenci (avoidance-avoidance) atau berseteru (conflicting pair), dan saling menyukai/ men-dukung (approach-approach) atau sebagai pasangan bulan madu (honeymoon). Kelompok etnis Madura cenderung dijadikan sebagai kelompok target konflik, sementara Tionghoa sebagai kelompok etnis sanjungan. Model pendidikan multikultural ramah dianggap sesuai diterapkan dalam program pendidikan di sekolah E-RS untuk membangun citra positif pada masing-masing kelompok agar prasangka (prejudice) dan bias anggapan (stereotip) dapat dikendorkan.Kata kunci: prasangka (prejudice) dan stereotip, ethno-religio segregation (E-RS), model pendidikan multikultural ramah_____________________________________________________________ MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION RAMAH MODEL FOR ETHNO-RELIGIO SEGREGATED SCHOOLS (E-RS) KOTA PONTIANAKAbstract This research is intended to formulate patterns and measure the strength of the interethnical-religious relation among students from four different ethnic groups of Malay, Dayak, Chinese, and Madurese at the ethno-religio segregated schools (E-RS) in Pontianak: Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Senior High School (Malay-Islam),  Christian Education Foundation Senior High School/ YPK (Dayak-Christian], Immanuel Christian Senior High School (Chinese-Christian, Konghucu/Confucius, Buddha), dan Private Islamic Senior High School/MAS Al-Anwar (Madurese-Islam), based on their prejudice and stereotype attitudes toward ethnic and religion. The research applied qulititative-quantitative mixed method, and for developing the model, focus group discussion (FGD) was used. The findings show that E-RS have unique and critical interethnic-religious relation patterns, i.e. ethno-centrism, approach-avoidance, avoidance-approach, avoidance-avoidance (conflicting pair), and approach-approach (honeymoon). Madurese is treated as potential conflicting targeted group; Chinese as popular referring group among case groups. A model of Ramah (friendly attitudes and behaviours) in multicultural education is promoted to develop positive images among the groups to reduce potential prejudice and stereotypes.Keywords: prejudice and stereotype, ethno-religio segregated schools (E-RS), multicultural education ramah model

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan model evaluasi pembelajaran yang hasilnya dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi kekeliruan dan melakukan koreksi sendiri, serta sistem informasi-nya. Pengembangan dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam empat tahap, yaitu penelitian, penciptaan dan desain, rekayasa dan pengemasan, tahap pengujian dan evaluasi. Konstruk model evaluasi dimodifikasi dari model Marzano dan divalidasi melalui focus group discussion dan teknik Delphi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan siswa di enam SMAN dan satu SMA swasta di Malang. Hasil penelitian: 1) model evaluasi didukung oleh instrumen evaluasi diri guru, evaluasi teman sejawat, dan evaluasi siswa; 2) karakteristik instrumen evaluasi mencakup validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan telah teruji; 3) sistem informasi hasil evaluasi disajikan dalam bentuk bar chart yang memuat informasi kelebihan dan kekurangan guru, rencana perbaikan guru, dan saran perbaikan untuk guru dan sekolah; 4) instrumen evaluasi berbentuk software disertai manualnya. Kata kunci: model evaluasi, kaizen, pembelajaran, sekolah menengah atas ______________________________________________________________A TEACHING EVALUATION MODEL BASED ON KAIZEN AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Abstract This study aimed at developing an evaluation model to find out problems in the teaching process in order to prevent mistakes and to make a self-correction for assuring a continuous teaching improvement, and to deliver its information system. This was a development study which used quantitative and qualitative approaches carried out in four phases, namely initial research, invention and design, engineering and packaging, and test and evaluation. The construct of this evaluation model was adapted from Marzano's evaluation model and had been validated by a focus group discussion and Delphi technique. The subjects of this study were senior high school teachers and students from six public senior high schools (SMAN) and a private senior high school in Malang. This study shows the following conclusions: 1) The evaluation model based on kaizen has been equipped by self-evaluation instrument, evaluation instrument by colleagues and students; 2) The characteristics of the evaluation model based on kaizen for quality assurance of teaching at senior high school consisted of validity, reliability, and practicability which had been verified. The validity evidence had been obtained through focus group discussion and Delphi techniques, and had been analyzed using content validity ratio (CVR) and content validity index (CVI) proposed by Lawshe. The construct validity was elaborated through the structural equation modeling based on component; 3) The results of model fit test using GesCA-program developed by Heungsun Hwang indicate that the model is supported by the data shown by the value of GFI 0,997, and SRMR 0.076; 4) The information system of the evaluation results is presented in bar chart which accommodates teachers' strengths and weaknesses, teachers' planning of improvement, and suggestion of improvement for teachers and school.Keywords: development model, evaluation model, teaching process

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model evaluasi reflektif kurikulum rumpun mata kuliah keahlian pendidikan bahasa Inggris untuk memotret penuangan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa di dalam kelas. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran dalam lima tahap, yaitu studi awal, pendefinisian, perancangan, peragaan, dan pengembangan. Penetapan konstuk dilakukan melalui penilaian pakar, dengan subyek penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris yang ada di DIY. Penentuan koefisien reliabilitas instrumen evaluasi menggunakan program SmartPLS Versi 2.0.M3 dan uji kelayakan model dengan program GeSCA. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: (1) model evaluasi yang dikembangkan didukung oleh lima instrumen evaluasi; (2) validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan instrumen evaluasi telah teruji melalui kegiatan FGD, teknik Delphi, dan analisis faktor konfirmatori non-parametrik; (3) koefisien reliabilitas komposit kelima instrumen adalah sebesar 0,93; 0,91; 0,95; 0,95; dan 0,86; (4) hasil uji kelayakan model menunjukkan model didukung oleh data ditunjukkan oleh nilai GFI 0,99 dan SRMR 0,06; 5) Pedoman penggunaan model dalam bentuk panduan evaluasi.Kata kunci: pengembangan model evaluasi kurikulum, karakter bangsa______________________________________________________________MODEL OF REFLECTIVE CURRICULUM EVALUATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN DEVELOPING NATIONAL CHARACTERAbstract This study aimed to develop a model of reflective curriculum evaluation at the English Education Study Program that portrayed the delivery of the values of national character in the classroom. This development study used mixed approach carried out in five phases:  initial study, defining, designing, demonstrating, and developing.  The constructs of instruments were developed based on expert judgments; the subjects were lecturers and students of English Language Education Study Program in four universities in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The composite reliability coefficient of the instruments was analyzed by SEM program of SmartPLS Version 2.0.M3 and test of fit model by GeSCA. The result of the study concluded: 1) the developed model evaluation was supported by five instruments of evaluation; 2) validity, reliability, and its implementation had been verified through FGD, Delphy techniques, and non-parametric confirmatory factor analysis; 3) the composite reliability coefficient of the five instruments was 0.93, 0.91, 0.95, 0.95, and 0.86; 4) the result of the test of fit model indicated that  model was supported by the data with GFI 0.99 and SRMR 0.06; 5) The guidelines of using the developed model consisted of background, rational, components of assessment, guidelines, and application sample.Keywords: developing model of curriculum evaluation, national character

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pedoman evaluasi IBSQ dan mendeskripsikan: (1) kriteria model evaluasi pengelolaan pondok pesantren yang baik; (2) efektivitas penggunaan model evaluasi pengelolaan pondok pesantren; dan (3) pengelolaan pondok pesantren. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development (R & D). Subjek penelitian yaitu pimpinan, pengelola, ustaz, santri dan alumni Pondok Pesantren Al Falah Sidoharjo Sragen, Pondok Pesantren Assalaam, dan Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah dihasilkan sebuah model evaluasi yang dapat mengevaluasi pengelolaan pondok pesantren yang terdiri dari lima buah buku dengan kriteria: (1) karakteristik instrumen dalam model IBSQ: (a) memiliki format yang baik; (b) memenuhi substansi model evaluasi; (c) memiliki tingkat validitas konstruk yang dapat diandalkan; (d) memiliki tingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi; (2) model IBSQ memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang baik; (3) pengelolaan setiap pondok pesantren secara nyata terjadi perbedaan: (a) pengelolaan di Pondok Pesantren Al Falah masih sangat tradisional dengan bukti kegiatan administrasi masih manual; (b) pengelolaan di Pondok Pesantren Assalaam sudah memanfaatkan IT sebagai sarana dalam menjalankan pengelolaan; (c) pengelolaan di Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad masih campuran antara manual dan berbasis komputer.Kata kunci: model evaluasi, pengelolaan, pondok pesantren DEVELOPING THE EVALUATION MODEL OF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL MANAGEMENTAbstractThe study was to generate the IBSQ evaluation guidelines and to describe: (1) the criteria of good evaluation model for the Islamic Boarding School management; (2) the effectiveness of using the evaluation model for the Islamic Boarding School management; and (3) the management of Islamic Boarding School. The method that was used was the research and development (R&D). The subjects in the study were the leaders, the managers, the ustaz, the students and the alumni of Al Falah Islamic Boarding School Al Falah Sidoharjo Sragen, of Assalaam Islamic Boarding School and of Al Muayyad Surakarta Islamic Boarding School. The result of the study showed that there had been an evaluation model that might evaluate the Islamic boarding school management and the evaluation model consisted of five books with the following criteria: (1) the IBSQ evaluation model had the following characteristic instruments: (a) having a good format; (b) meeting the substances of an evaluation model; (c) having reliable level of construct validity; and (d) having high level of reliability; (2) the IBSQ evaluation model had a good level of effectiveness; (3) there had been actual differences in each Islamic boarding school: (a) the management in the Al Falah Islamic Boarding School was still very traditional. It was indicated by manual administration; (b) the management in Assalaam Islamic Boarding School had benefitted the information technology as the tools in performing managerial tasks; and (c) the management in the Al Muayyad Islamic Boarding School used a combination between the manual and the computer-based way.Keyword: evaluation model, management, Islamic boarding school

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of e-module teaching materials using problem solving learning model-based flipbook makers. This research is research and development by adopting the Brog & Gall model (containing potential and problem analysis, product design, product assessment, product manufacture, product testing, and final product manufacture.). The analysis stage of potential problems includes carrying out initial observations during pre-research analyzing problems, media, teachers, and students. The product design stage includes instructions for use, table of contents, mapping of Basic Competency, glossary, indicators and learning objectives, benefits of e-modules, maps concepts, materials, summaries, exercises, worksheets, competency tests, answer keys and bibliography. The development stage is making e-module teaching materials with product aspects, material content, validation and display of the production of e-module teaching materials using a flipbook maker and also developing data instruments. The data collection instruments in this study were product feasibility from expert lecturers and education practitioners, practical worksheets for elementary school teachers and peers. For students readability sheets, pretest and posttest questions for the final evaluation of student learning after using the e-module. The data collection instrument was based on assessments by experts/lecturers, education practitioners, class teachers, peers and also students as research objects. The implementation stage of using the e-module has been developed for fifth grade students at SDN Karangasem 08 Batang. The trials carried out at this stage were product feasibility tests, product legibility and pretest posttest for students, with the results showing an increase in students' critical thinking after students used e-modules using flipbook makers. Evidenced by the paired t-test, the magnitude of the increase in the average pretest and posttest scores shows that there is an average increase (gain) in the pretest and posttest values obtained by 61.00 and 77.72 with an average difference of 16.72. The increase in average indicates that the E-module Flipbook based on the problem solving learning model is effectively used in social studies content in class V SDN Karangasem 08 Batang. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each stage of the Borg and Gall model. The data analysis technique used is the manova and n-gain tests. The results show that the developed flipbook maker-based e-module is suitable for use in Civics learning. The e-module is feasible and practical to use, and effective for improving the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students.
