Abstract

This study aims to describe the skills of teachers in class management in high grades at SD Keude Bieng Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were high school teachers at SD Negeri Keude Bieng Aceh Besar, which consisted of 3 class teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation and interviews. Data is processed by data analysis stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data verification. The results of the study show that the teacher's skills in class management in high grades at SD Negeri Keude Bieng Aceh Besar have been well implemented. This can be seen from the results of observations and interviews that have been conducted by researchers indicating that the teacher has carried out classroom management in the learning process. Classroom management skills related to creating optimal learning conditions, dividing attention by the teacher visually and verbally, the teacher can also focus students' attention on learning individually or in groups and provide reinforcement to students Moderate Skills in restoring optimal learning conditions teachers still have not implemented the components of skills in restoring optimal learning conditions such as modifying behavior and finding and solving behavior that causes problems.

Abstract

Abstract (English)This research is entitled teacher's difficulties in teaching students who do not have an early childhood/kindergarten background in class I SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh. The teacher's difficulty in teaching is centered on students who do not have an early childhood/kindergarten background which has an impact on the teacher's difficulties in teaching in class. Where the difficulties experienced by the teacher make teaching and learning activities disrupted and cannot run effectively. The formulation of the problem in this study is how difficult it is for teachers to teach students who do not have an early childhood/kindergarten background. This study aims to describe teachers' difficulties in teaching students who do not have an early childhood/kindergarten background. This research uses a qualitative approach, a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were 1 class I teacher and 17 students who did not have an early childhood/kindergarten background. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews, while data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has carried out teaching activities which consist of activities in dealing with individual student differences, determining material that is suitable for the child being faced, choosing the right method, and conducting an evaluation. From these activities, there are difficulties faced by the teacher, namely in the activity of determining material that is suitable for the child being faced in the form of connecting similar subject matter, and using learning aids, then in choosing the right method in the form of associating and embedding the subject matter in everyday life. students' day, and in conducting evaluations in the form of applying new ideas and exploring students' opinions. In addition to these activities the teacher did not experience difficulties in teaching and learning activities. Therefore it can be concluded that teachers experience difficulties in teaching students who do not have an early childhood/kindergarten background.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning creativity of students in Civics learning in Class V SDN 70 Banda Aceh by using leaflet media. The approach in research is qualitative and descriptive research type. The subjects studied were 32 students of class V SD Negeri 70 Banda Aceh with data collection techniques namely observation and interviews. This research has results that can be stated that of the 7 indicators of learning creativity, almost all students in the class have implemented these indicators in learning, starting from the activities of students often asking questions during the learning process, students try to find references from other sources, for example from theme books, during learning they always ask questions according to the material being discussed at the time, they are active in giving opinions during discussions with the teacher or with their group mates, they are confident and willing to express opinions without being rewarded, they are confident in their opinions each, they are also enthusiastic and able to interact and do tasks well with their group mates. However, there is one indicator that they have not implemented properly, namely being able to submit thoughts and ideas that are different from other people, which is indicated when they are presenting the results of their group work, they have not been able to account for the ideas they put forward during the presentation.

Abstract

AbstractThe use of the Picture and Picture learning model can make students actively participate in learning because it uses pictures especially for low grade students. The formulation of the problem is how are the activities of students and teachers during the use of the Picture and Picture learning model and whether using the picture and picture learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. The purpose of this study was to find out the activities of students and teachers during the use of the Picture and Picture learning model and to find out the increase in student learning outcomes by using the Picture and Picture learning model in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. The research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet, Aceh Besar district. The subject is students of class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet. Data collection techniques by taking observation sheets of student and teacher activities as well as test sheets. Data analysis techniques by taking the percentage formula and the average. The results of data analysis prove an increase. It is known by (1) the average value of student activity in cycle I was 3.33 in the enough category, cycle II increased by 4.33 in the good category, cycle III increased by 4.83 very good criteria. (2) The average value of teacher activity in cycle I was 3.4 categories sufficient, cycle II increased 4.33 categories good, cycle III greatly increased to 5 categories very good. (3) Student learning outcomes as a percentage of classical completeness in cycle I 42.10% cycle II becomes 73.68% and cycle III becomes 89.47%. It was concluded that the use of the Picture and Picture learning model can improve the learning activities of students and teachers as well as the learning outcomes of students in class II SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet Aceh Besar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in instilling Pancasila values in students. The approach in research is qualitative and descriptive research type. The subjects in the study were 6 class teachers at SDN 62 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research results, it is known that teachers in grades I-VI have played the role of educators, mentors, coaches in instilling Pancasila values, namely the value of divinity and the value of unity, teachers in grades I-III have not implemented human, populist, and justice values, while teachers in grades IV-VI has played a role in instilling the values of humanity, democracy, and justice. The conclusion in this study is that teachers have played a role in instilling Pancasila values, namely class IV to class V but there are also obstacles in instilling Pancasila values in students, unlike the case with class I, II, III teachers, they still have not fully played a role as educators, trainers and mentors because some of the Pancasila values have not been implemented.

Abstract

Guru berperan sebagai pendidik dalam memperbaiki setiap aspek karakter dan tingkah laku siswa. Namun akibat pandemi Covid-19, maka dibutuhkannya kerjasama antara guru dengan orang tua sebagai pendamping belajar siswa selama di rumah. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengumpulkan berbagai persepsi guru terkait pendampingan orang tua selama masa pandemi. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai persepsi guru SD Negeri 32 Banda Aceh tentang program pendampingan orang tua terhadap proses belajar siswa di rumah. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas SD Negeri 32 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 12 orang guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari wawancara dengan semua guru kelas. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, pemaparan data display dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, guru berpendapat bahwa orang tua aktif mendampingi siswa belajar selama di rumah dengan memberikan fasilitas belajar kepada siswa berupa HP. Guru juga melakukan kerjasama dengan orang tua dalam memotivasi dan mengamati belajar siswa. Guru juga mengatakan orang tua selalu mengatur waktu belajar siswa dan menanyakan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa. Menurut pendapat guru orang tua selalu membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan saat belajar dan bagi orang tua yang kurang aktif mendampingi siswa maka berakibat menurunnya nilai siswa. Untuk melihat perkembangan belajar siswa, guru mengatakan dapat dilihat dari terkumpulnya tugas dan kehadiran siswa.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah persepsi guru kelas tentang pendampingan orang tua selama pembelajaran di rumah cocok untuk terus digunakan selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Hal ini di karenakan orang tua mampu menyediakan fasilitas, mengamati dan memberikan motivasi belajar, mengatur waktu belajar siswa, dan mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa serta membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar sehingga proses pembelajaran secara daring berlangsung dengan baik.Kata Kunci : Persepsi guru, pendampingan orang tua, pembelajaran di rumah

Ketika proses belajar karangan deskripsi secara menulis di sekolah upaya guru meningkatkan keterampilan menulis sangatlah penting demi tercapainya tujuan belajar yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkapkan bagaimanakah upaya guru meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi?. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan upaya guru meningkatkan keterampilan mengaranag dengan cara menulis secara deskripsi.Proses penelitian ini digunakannya jenis penelitian deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian 3 orang guru. Pengumpulan datanya digunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Seluruh data dari observasi juga wawancara diolah dengan tahap analisis data yaitu, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi.Simpulan dari yang telah diteliti memperlihatkan bahwa guru berupaya dengan memakai media, metode, dan sumber belajar yang bervariasi seperti: (1) media gambar dan lingkungan sekolah; (2) metode demonstrasi dan pengamatan objek; serta (3) sumbel belajar berupa buku paket dan buku cerita bergambar.

Abstract

The teacher's perception of the performance of the principal at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City can be viewed from the aspect of personality, the principal's knowledge of education staff, understanding of the school's vision and mission, decision-making ability and communication skills. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, how is the teacher's perception of the performance of the principal at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh? This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of the performance of principals at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh.The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects used in this study were 6 teachers. Collecting data in this study using interview techniques. To analyze research data, researchers used data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions.The results of research at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh every time they want to make an internal decision the school always holds meetings and consults with the teachers to find the best solution for the school, always works together in carrying out any matter, is also always wise in making decisions by the principal and all teachers and staff are always compact, working together to advance the school. Meanwhile, to make decisions external to the school, the principal holds meetings and consults with teachers, committees and student guardians and also always asks for solutions and gives good suggestions.From the results of the study it can be concluded that at SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh it was found that the teacher's perception of the performance of the principal was very necessary as a reference for the principal in analyzing his performance to build a better school and the results of interviews with the six teachers regarding the performance of the principal could be categorized already well. The principal has been able to carry out his duties as a leader and is very responsible and wise in all matters, be it discipline and good cooperation

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe the influence of parents on the character discipline in study students at higher grades in SDN Tanjung Selamat. The approach in research is uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlational research method. This research was held in SDN Tanjung Selamat Aceh Besar with a total sample of 46 students participating consisting of all students from grades IV to VI. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire using a Likert scale. In the data analysis technique used the Product Moment correlation test formula and hypothesis testing is calculated using the t test formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05). The result obtained from this study is that parents' and students' discipline in learning have a correlation value of (0.584) which is included in the medium category. Parents have an influence of 34.1% on discipline in student learning. The results of hypothesis testing obtained t-count of 4.772, this indicates that t-count (4.772) t-table (2.021) therefore it is concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study was obtained is a significant influence of parents on the character of discipline in study students at higher grade in SDN Tanjung Selamat Aceh Besar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's ability to use audio-visual media in science lessons in class V SD Negeri Lamklat Aceh Besar. The approach taken is qualitative with a descriptive research type. The subject in this study was 1 teacher of class V. Data was collected by observation and interviews. All data collected is processed with the stages of data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, shows that the teacher has been able to master the three steps of using audio-visual media, namely, in the preparation step the teacher prepares a lesson plan about the material and prepares the media equipment used appropriately, in the implementation/presentation step the teacher has followed the existing indicators. such as explaining the learning objectives well, and managing the class so that students are safe and peaceful in learning. And the last follow-up step, the teacher provides exercises to see the extent to which students can understand science material correctly so that the learning process becomes more effective. So it can be concluded that the teacher has taken the steps of audio-visual media correctly so that it can be said that the teacher has the ability to use audio-visual media in science learning in class V.
