The purpose of this study is to find out vocabulary exercises by using crossword puzzles. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study were Grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Kayangan, North Lombok Regency. The problem solving framework in this study is formulated in several implementation methods, namely as follows. (1). The initial stage will begin with observing the potential of SMPN 1 Kayangan students, North Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency. This observation is carried out by attending events held by this community to obtain the necessary data. (2). In the second phase, the research team will prepare various materials related to vocabulary practice using crossword puzzles. These materials are adapted to the experiences and heterogeneity of students at SMPN 1 Kayangan, North Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency. (3). The final stage is implementation. The results of this study were that almost all participants were enthusiastic and felt the benefits of this training. The implementation of the research for students of SMPN 1 Kayangan, North Lombok Regency can be concluded that it was successful up to the training stage in mastering vocabulary using crossword puzzles. This success was shown, among other things, by: (1) the suitability of the material with the needs of students at SMPN 1 Kayangan, North Lombok Regency in improving their ability to master vocabulary. (2) there was a positive response from the participants considering that research activities were students' needs in order to improve their English skills, and (3) the majority (90%) of the participants had understood the concept of crossword games in improving their ability to master vocabulary so that they were successfully published in national journals.

This research is the use of pictures in increasing students’ vocabulary mastery at the first Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kayangan in Academic Year 2022/2023. The kind of this research is a classroom action research (CAR). The populations of this research were all students of the first grade student of SMPN 1 Kayangan that consists of 117 students. Meanwhile the subject research was VII c because they were less in mastery vocabulary, then the technique of collecting data was observation and test. In addition in analyzing the numerical data, the researcher gained the average students score in each cycle, the mean score of the first cycle was 5.73 and at the second cycle was 7.48, and the curriculum standar of Minimum Completness Criteria (MCC) at the first cycle was 53.57% it had not reached yet the classical sucsessful criteria, because the classical successful learning must be >60% and at the second cycle was 71.42%, so it can be said succes because 71.42% higher than >60. It can be concluded that the use of picture was able to increase the students’ vocabulary mastery at the first grade students of SMPN 1 Kayangan in academic year 2022/2023.

The aim of this research is how to find out a relevant method to teach the students on reading comprehension for the second year students of MTS Al-Ikhlas, Pandan Tinggang, Batu Jangkih, Southwest Praya of central Lombok in academic year 2021/2022.This research is used reading comprehension and small group discussion in teaching reading comprehension. The kind of this research is a classroom action research (CAR). The populations of this research were all students of the second grade student of MTS Al-Ikhlas that consists of 16 students. Meanwhile the subject research was VIIa because they were less in comprehension of the text through reading activity, then the technique of collecting data was observation and test. In addition in analyzing the numerical data, the writer gained the average students score in each cycle. The use of small group discussion in teaching is able to improve the students’ English reading skills. It is proved that students score at the second cycle is higher than at the first cycle; the mean score of the first cycle were 5.73 and at the second cycle were 7.48, and the curriculum standar of Minimum Completness Criteria (MCC) at the first cycle were 53.57% it had not reached yet the classical sucsessful criteria,because the classical successful learning must be >60% and at the second cycle were 71.42%,so it can be said succes because 71.42% of the students got >60. This study explores the effectiveness of digital writing tools in enhancing creative writing skills among second-semester students in the English Department at Qamarul Huda Badaruddin University in 2024. With the increasing integration of technology in education, digital tools offer innovative ways to support and improve students' writing abilities. This research aims to assess the current creative writing skills of students, identify the digital writing tools they frequently use, evaluate the impact of these tools on their writing, and understand their perceptions towards the use of technology in the writing process. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and analysis of writing samples. Participants included second-semester students who underwent a pre-test to evaluate their initial creative writing skills. Following this, they received training and used various digital writing tools throughout the semester. A post-test assessed any improvements in their writing abilities, complemented by follow-up interviews to gather in-depth insights into their experiences. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' creative writing skills, as evidenced by higher post-test scores. Students reported increased motivation, better organization, and enhanced creativity when using digital tools. Commonly used tools included word processors, grammar checkers, and creative writing software, which collectively contributed to a more engaging and effective writing process. This study concludes that digital writing tools can substantially enhance creative writing skills among university students. The findings provide practical recommendations for educators to incorporate these tools into their teaching methods, thereby fostering a more interactive and productive learning environment.

Moralitas telah menjadi masalah umum dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk pendidikan. Di lingkungan sekolah, moralitas berkaitan dengan perilaku siswa dalam interaksi sehari-hari, baik dengan sesama teman maupun dengan guru. Namun, ada sejumlah siswa di sekolah yang akhlaknya perlu ditingkatkan. Salah satu cara untuk mengajarkan moralitas kepada siswa adalah dengan menggunakan film-film yang mengandung pelajaran yang baik. Dalam penelitian ini, film Rudy Habibie digunakan untuk pembelajaran akhlak dengan siswa SMA Islam Uswatun Hasanah dalam rangka peningkatan pengetahuan tentang akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui nilai-nilai moral yang diajarkan dalam film Rudy Habibie; 2) mendeskripsikan bagaimana nilai-nilai moral dalam film Rudy Habibie terkait dengan sastra SMA; 3) mendeskripsikan bagaimana nilai-nilai moral film Rudy Habibie dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa di SMA Uswatun Hasanah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket, catatan lapangan, wawancara, video atau foto sebagai instrumen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SMA Islam Uswatun Hasanah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Film Rudy Habibie memiliki banyak nilai moral yang dapat dipelajari oleh siapa saja, khususnya pelajar; 2) Film Rudy Habibie dapat memotivasi siswa untuk memiliki akhlak yang baik seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam film tersebut dan siswa dapat mengambil beberapa nilai moral dari film tersebut; 3) tidak semua siswa dapat termotivasi melalui film, dan film memiliki keterbatasan untuk mengubah moralitas masyarakat; 4) kebiasaan tidak dapat diubah dengan cepat dan mudah hanya dengan menonton film, dibutuhkan lebih banyak upaya internal dan eksternal, juga membutuhkan waktu lebih lama dari hanya satu atau dua jam menonton film.

The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between language anxiety and English language proficiency in the context of classroom presentation by second-semester students in the Department of English at UNIQHBA. This study employed a quantitative approach with correlational method to identify and elucidate the relationship and the level of correlation between students language anxiety and their speaking performance. The Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), developed by Horwitz et al., was employed to quantify students anxiety when speaking in English. Furthermore, students speaking performance was evaluated through a Speaking Assessment by Bown & Abeywickrama. The result of the analysis indicated a correlation (0.188) between language anxiety and students speaking performance. However, the correlation was not statistically significant, with a sig-(0,408) exceeding 0,05. Consequently, it can be concluded that the relationship between language anxiety and students English speaking performance among second-semester students in the department of English at UNIQHBA is very weak and insignificant.

Pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap kreatifitas belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn ini dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan dunia pendidikan yang sudah mengglobalisasi. Guru harus memilih pendekatan dan media yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran Pkn sehingga Guru mampu membuat proses pembelajaran lancar dan mampu membuat siswa lebih kreatif baik di rumah maupun di sekolah.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ( 1 ) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap kretatifitas belajar, ( 2 ) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap kretaifitas siswa. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penentuan sampel berupa populasi yang di ambil dari siswa kelas XI IPA berjumlah 44 siswa terdiri dari 29 siswi perempuan dan 15 siswa laki – laki. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ( 1 ) interpretasi minor 1 dengan hasil Freg = 1,060 sedangkan pada tabel Ftabel 5% = 4,10 berbunyi tidak ada pengaruh pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap terhadap kreatifitas siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn. ( 2 ) interpretasi minor 2 dengan hasil Freg = 4,5 sedangkan pada tabel Ftabel 5% = 4,10 berbunyi tidak ada pengaruh pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap terhadap kreatifitas siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn. ( 3 ) kesimpulan akhir Interpretasi mayor pada tabel Freg ≥ Ftabel 5% = 3,25 sehingga berbunyi ada pengaruh pemanfaatan media sosial terhadap kreatifitas pembelajaran siswa dalam pelajaran PKn

This service aims to increase accuracy and professionalism in zakat management through training on the use of zakat calculators for prospective zakat recipients. The main objective is to provide an in-depth understanding of zakat calculations, introduce zakat calculator technology, and improve prospective amil's skills in managing zakat funds more efficiently. The service method involves holding interactive training, group discussions, and simulating the use of a zakat calculator. The results of the service include increasing the understanding of prospective amil regarding zakat law, their ability to use zakat calculators effectively, and their professionalism in involving the community in managing zakat funds. Through this approach, it is hoped that prospective amil will become more competent and confident in managing zakat, ensuring a more targeted distribution of zakat funds, and supporting the growth and welfare of the beneficiary community.

This study aims to analyze the performance of halal product process assistance services by the Islamic Economic Community (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah/MES) in South Kalimantan. The success of LP3H (Lembaga Pendamping Proses Produk Halal) in assisting the halal product process is crucial to ensuring compliance with halal principles within the Islamic economy. This research adopts a field study design using a quantitative descriptive approach. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling, involving 96 respondents from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that had received assistance in the halal certification process. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The study examines six Islamic service quality dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and compliance. The findings indicate that the overall quality of assistance services provided by the Halal Product Process Assistants under MES has not yet achieved the level of excellent service. This is evidenced by the gap between the average values of performance and importance across several service indicators. The Cartesian diagram analysis reveals three indicators that require priority improvement: (1) trust in the MES P3H (Halal Product Process Assistant), (2) the neat and professional appearance of the assistants, and (3) the honesty and transparency of the assistants in explaining the halal certification application process. These results suggest the need for MES to improve the competence, appearance, and integrity of its assistants in order to meet the expectations of MSMEs and support the sustainability of halal product development in Indonesia. This study contributes to the evaluation of service quality in halal certification assistance, especially within the Islamic economic framework.

This study examines the application of Islamic business ethics and its impact on buyer trust in modern and traditional markets in Sape District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. It aims to understand how business actors perceive and implement ethical principles in their transactions. Using qualitative field research with descriptive analysis, the study employs normative theological, sociological, and phenomenological approaches. Data sources include primary data from observations and interviews, as well as secondary data from literature. Findings show that most business actors in both modern and traditional markets have a general understanding of business ethics and apply them to some extent. Many traders indirectly practice ethical behavior in transactions. However, the full implementation of Islamic business ethics—honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and tolerance—remains inconsistent. Many business actors still prioritize profit over ethical considerations, focusing on financial gain rather than the spiritual value or blessings of fair business practices. This gap highlights the need for greater awareness and education on sharia business ethics. Strengthening ethical training programs and regulatory frameworks can encourage business actors to integrate these principles more consistently, fostering a trustworthy and sustainable market environment.
