ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model, student learning outcomes, and the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The study population was 233 eighth-grade students, while the research sample was 70 students determined using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through the help of the SPSS program, which includes validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in Islamic Religious Education subjects is in the moderate category. Student learning outcomes are also in the moderate category. The results of the regression test show that the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the calculated F value of 142.666 which is greater than the F table of 2.03 and the significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.898 indicates that 89.8% of the variation in student learning outcomes can be explained by the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model variable, while the remaining 10.2% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education through the implementation of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model in class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Lambu, Bima Regency. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students which is indicated by the large number of students who have not achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) and the low student activeness in the learning process. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 36 students of class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Lambu. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, learning outcome tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model can improve student learning outcomes. In the initial conditions, only 9 students (25%) achieved learning completion, while 27 students (75%) had not achieved the KKM. After the implementation of the IOC model in Cycle I, the number of students who completed the learning increased to 23 people (63.89%) and those who had not completed it were 13 people (36.11%). In Cycle II, the learning completion rate increased again to 33 people (91.67%), while only 3 students (8.33%) had not completed it. In addition, the observation results showed an increase in student activity, participation, discipline, and enthusiasm during the learning process. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education for class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 1 Lambu, Bima Regency.

This study aims to determine the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model in improving the learning outcomes of class X.9 students in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak at MAN 1 Makassar City. This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students indicated by the low level of learning completeness and the lack of student activity in the learning process. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 31 class X.9 students of MAN 1 Makassar City. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model can improve student activity and learning outcomes. Teacher activity increased from an average score of 3.25 in cycle I to 3.83 in cycle II with a very good category. Student activity also increased from an average score of 2.90 in cycle I to 3.60 in cycle II with a very good category. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage of student learning completion which in the pre-cycle only reached 25.81%, then increased to 51.61% in cycle I, and again increased to 93.54% in cycle II with an average value of 89.58. These results indicate that the research success indicators have been achieved. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in class X.9 MAN 1 Makassar City.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan metode Flipped Classroom dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti serta menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Lambu Kabupaten Bima setelah diterapkannya metode tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 orang dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil tes pada tahap pra-siklus menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 61,56 (28,13%). Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 76,88 (65,63%). Selanjutnya, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 87,19 (87,5%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Flipped Classroom efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik serta mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, kemandirian, dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building subject in class VII.A of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. The problem was caused by the use of conventional teaching methods that made students less active and less interested in the learning process. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model and to determine its effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Each cycle included four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 29 students of class VII.A at SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and learning achievement tests. The results revealed that the implementation of the CIRC learning model successfully improved students’ learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, the average score was 65.34 with a learning mastery percentage of 34.48%. In Cycle I, the average score increased to 80.52 with a mastery percentage of 65.52%. Furthermore, in Cycle II, the average score increased to 89.48 with a mastery percentage of 93.10%. These findings indicate that the CIRC learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building subject for class VII.A at SMP Negeri 19 Makassar.

This study aims to improve students' learning motivation through the application of differentiated learning models in Islamic Religious Education subjects for class VII E of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. The background of this study is the low learning motivation of students indicated by a lack of activeness in learning, low self-confidence, and a lack of enthusiasm in participating in teaching and learning activities. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is implemented in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 30 class VII E students of SMP Negeri 19 Makassar. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, documentation, and learning motivation questionnaires. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques by calculating the average value and percentage of student learning motivation. The results of the study indicate that the application of differentiated learning models can improve student learning motivation. In the pre-cycle stage, student learning motivation obtained an average percentage of 66% with a good category. After the implementation of the differentiated learning model in cycle I, the percentage of learning motivation increased to 74.16%, categorized as good. Furthermore, in cycle II, there was a more significant increase to 86.03%, categorized as very good. The observation results also showed an increase in student learning activities, such as activeness in asking questions, discussing, working together in groups, and courage in expressing opinions. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the differentiated learning model is effective in increasing student learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, class VII E, SMP Negeri 19 Makassar.

This study aims to determine the level of student learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Cultural History, determine learning outcomes, and analyze the influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class XII students at MAN 1 Makassar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The research population consisted of 386 12th-grade students, while the research sample consisted of 35 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with the help of SPSS. The results of the study show that the learning motivation of class XII students in the subject of Islamic Cultural History is in the high category with an average value of 78.40. Student learning outcomes are also in the good category with an average value of 82.15. The results of the analysis show that the data are normally distributed and have a linear relationship. Thus, learning motivation has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of class XII students in Islamic Cultural History at MAN 1 Makassar City. The higher the student's learning motivation, the better the learning outcomes obtained.

This study aims to improve studen This study aims to determine the application of the Make A Match learning model and improve student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subject of class VIII.6 at SMP Negeri 4 Masamba, North Luwu Regency. This study is motivated by the low learning motivation of students which is indicated by a lack of attention during learning, low activeness in asking questions or discussing, and the dominant use of lecture methods which causes learning to take place monotonously. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research subjects were 30 students of class VIII.6. Data collection techniques include observation, learning motivation assessment rubric, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Make A Match learning model is able to increase student learning motivation gradually in each cycle. The percentage of learning motivation in the pre-cycle stage was 35.09%, then increased to 57.64% in Cycle I, and again increased to 85.19% in Cycle II with a good category. In addition to increasing motivation values, students also showed positive changes in learning behavior, such as being more active in asking questions, daring to express opinions, enthusiastic about participating in learning, being able to work together in groups, and being more focused on the material being studied. The learning atmosphere became more interactive, fun, and student-centered. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Make A Match learning model is effectively applied in Islamic Religious Education learning to increase the learning motivation of class VIII.6 students of SMP Negeri 4 Masamba, North Luwu Regency.

This study aims to determine the application of the Student Center Learning (SCL) learning model, describe the level of student learning motivation, and analyze the effect of the Student Center Learning model on student learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. The study population was 346 eighth grade students, while the sample was 63 students determined using the Slovin formula with a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis including classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²) with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that the application of the Student Center Learning model was in the moderate category, with a percentage of Small Group Discussion of 65.07%, Role Playing of 63.49%, and Discovery Learning of 73.01%. Student learning motivation was also in the moderate category. The results of the simultaneous test show that the Student Center Learning model has a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation, indicated by the F count value of 28.464 which is greater than the F table of 2.266 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the partial test also show that Small Group Discussion (t count = 6.294; sig. = 0.000), Role Playing (t count = 6.250; sig. = 0.000), and Discovery Learning (t count = 3.263; sig. = 0.002) each have a positive and significant effect on learning motivation. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.591 indicates that the Student Center Learning model is able to explain 59.1% of the variation in student learning motivation, while 40.9% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Student Center Learning model has a positive and significant influence on students' learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for class VIII at SMP Negeri 30 Makassar City.

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of the Gamification learning model in the subject of Akidah Akhlak class VIII.A at MTs Al-Munawwarah Lumu, Central Mamuju Regency. This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students caused by the use of learning methods that are still dominated by lecture methods so that students are less active and less motivated in participating in learning. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students of class VIII.A. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests, while the data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the application of the Gamification learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes. At the pre-cycle stage, only 3 students (9.37%) achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) with an average score of 39.37. After the actions in Cycle I, the number of students who completed increased to 20 people (62.5%). Furthermore, in Cycle II learning completion increased to 30 students (93.75%), so that they had met the specified success indicators. Teacher activity also increased from 75% in the good category in Cycle I to 87.5% in the very good category in Cycle II, while student activity increased from 78.12% to 90.62% in the very good category.
