Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Program Bilingual Guru di SMP Pesantren Modern Terpadu (PMT) Prof. Dr. Hamka II Padang dengan menggunakan pendekatan Logic Model. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluatif dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods), yang mengintegrasikan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menelaah keterkaitan antara komponen input, activities, outputs, outcomes, dan impact. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program telah terlaksana dengan baik pada level input, activities, dan outputs, yang mencerminkan pengelolaan program yang sistematis dan terstruktur. Pada level outcomes dan impact, perubahan positif telah mulai terbentuk, khususnya pada peningkatan kesiapan dan kesadaran guru dalam pembelajaran bilingual, meskipun masih memerlukan penguatan berkelanjutan agar terinternalisasi secara konsisten dalam praktik pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya evaluasi berbasis Logic Model dalam memahami keberlanjutan program pengembangan profesional guru.

Abstract

Program Asistensi Mengajar merupakan program strategis dalam kebijakan pendidikan tinggi yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa dan mendukung pembelajaran di sekolah mitra. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Program Asistensi Mengajar menggunakan Model Evaluasi CSE-UCLA dengan fokus pada aspek program implementation, program improvement, dan program certification. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan desain evaluatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara terhadap koordinator program, kepala sekolah, guru pamong, mahasiswa, dan siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif naratif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pelaksanaan program berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan persentase 93% pada aspek implementasi, 98% pada aspek perbaikan, dan 95% pada aspek sertifikasi, serta rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 95,33%. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan kendala pada tahap implementasi, terutama terkait manajemen kelas dan adaptasi mahasiswa. Secara keseluruhan, program dinilai efektif dan layak untuk dilanjutkan dengan penguatan pembekalan dan supervisi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika pada anak usia dini berperan penting dalam membangun kemampuan numerasi, berpikir logis, dan pemecahan masalah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi program pembelajaran yang komprehensif untuk menjamin kualitas pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi program pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini menggunakan Model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain evaluatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi pembelajaran, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif berdasarkan komponen CIPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan pembelajaran matematika telah mengacu pada kurikulum, namun belum dirumuskan secara operasional. Kompetensi pedagogik guru dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran masih perlu ditingkatkan. Proses pembelajaran telah berbasis bermain, tetapi belum optimal dalam mendorong eksplorasi dan penalaran anak. Pada aspek produk, sebagian besar anak mencapai indikator matematika dasar, namun kemampuan berpikir logis belum merata. Model CIPP efektif untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, dan area perbaikan program pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra (UNU Sumbar) in achieving its predetermined objectives. The study employs the Goal-Oriented Evaluation Model, first introduced by Robert E. Stake in 1967. Stake is a prominent educational evaluation scholar known for his goal-based evaluation approach, which is also discussed in Donna Mertens’ program evaluation framework. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative methodology to identify the primary objectives of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) and to measure the extent to which these objectives have been achieved based on data collected from various stakeholders, including the Head of the Information Systems Unit at UNU Sumbar, lecturers, students, and institutional partners. Data were collected and analyzed through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that most of the primary objectives of the Academic Information System particularly improving administrative efficiency and data accuracy have been successfully achieved. However, several objectives related to user satisfaction, feature optimization, and system readiness in response to technological advancements still require further attention. Strategic recommendations are therefore proposed to enhance the sustainability of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at UNU Sumbar so that it can more effectively support the Tridharma of Higher Education within the university context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aksesibilitas laboratorium pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa disabilitas netra di Departemen Pendidikan Luar Biasa Universitas Negeri Padang dengan menggunakan kerangka Index for Inclusion. Pendekatan penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap lima mahasiswa netra (totally blind). Analisis data menggunakan kategori tiga dimensi Index for Inclusion, yaitu budaya inklusif (sikap civitas akademika), kebijakan inklusif (aturan dan regulasi kampus), serta praktik inklusif (fasilitas fisik dan adaptasi pembelajaran). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) secara budaya, masih terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman civitas akademika mengenai kebutuhan mahasiswa netra; (2) secara kebijakan, belum terdapat regulasi resmi yang mengatur aksesibilitas laboratorium; dan (3) secara praktik, fasilitas fisik seperti guiding block, label braille, dan tata letak laboratorium belum optimal. Temuan ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan evaluasi berbasis teori Index for Inclusion dan menjadi dasar rekomendasi kebijakan praktis untuk program pengembangan laboratorium pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi yang lebih ramah disabilitas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMKN 1 Luak District, focusing on applying holistic, contextual, learner-centered, and explorative principles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using the CSE-UCLA evaluation model, which includes the stages of System Assessment, Program Planning, Program Implementation, Program Improvement, and Program Certification. The results showed that implementing P5 in SMKN 1 Luak District still faces various obstacles. The holistic principle has not been optimized due to the lack of integration between learners, teachers, and local communities. The contextual principle has not been fully implemented due to the lack of relevance of the project theme to local needs. In addition, the learner-centered principle is still weak due to the dominance of teachers in the learning process. In contrast, limited facilities and lack of training for teachers hamper the explorative principle. In conclusion, implementing P5 in this school still needs improvement in planning, teacher coordination, learner involvement, and program evaluation. The main recommendations from this study are to improve teacher training, learner involvement in planning, and the selection of themes that are more relevant to local conditions.

Abstract

This article evaluates the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMK Negeri 1 Suliki within the framework of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The study aims to assess the alignment of P5 execution with official educational guidelines and identify challenges in its implementation. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from 158 students and key stakeholders, applying the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The findings reveal a strong alignment between P5 objectives and the school’s vision, yet highlight significant challenges, including limited teacher understanding, inadequate resources, and inconsistent student engagement. The study also highlights the role of P5 activities in fostering competencies related to STEM-based learning approaches, crucial for preparing vocational students for 21st-century challenges. Recommendations for improvement include enhanced educator training, resource allocation, and fostering a supportive school culture. This evaluation provides a comprehensive overview of P5 implementation, contributing to the ongoing discourse on educational quality in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Well Intervention Pressure Control training using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model which includes four levels: Reaction, Learning, Behavior, and Outcomes. The research method used was a mixed methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The evaluation was conducted on 62 trainees working in the oil and gas sector, with a randomly selected sample. The results showed that the training was successful in improving participants' understanding of the training material, including pressure control procedures, as well as other technical skills. At the Reaction level, the majority of participants responded positively to the materials and teaching. At the Learning level, there was a significant increase in pre-test and post-test scores, indicating the success of the training in improving participants' knowledge. At the Behavior level, participants successfully applied the skills learned in real field situations, while at the Outcome level, the training was shown to improve operational performance and safety. In conclusion, the training successfully met its objectives of enhancing participants' technical skills and professional attitudes, and contributed to improved organizational performance, especially in terms of safety and operational efficiency in the oil and gas industry.

Abstract

Effective practical learning in vocational education requires instructional tools that support collaboration and contextual problem-solving. Jobsheets integrated with Collaborative Project-Based Learning (CPjBL) are expected to address this need in Lathe Machining subjects. This study employed a modified 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) to create a CPjBL-based jobsheet. The research involved 11th-grade Machining Engineering students at SMK Negeri 5 Padang, selected via purposive sampling. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, student questionnaires, observation checklists, and pretest-posttest assessments. The jobsheet featured collaborative tasks such as producing lathed components, with defined roles and peer coordination. Validation scores indicated strong content and design quality: material experts (92%), media experts (87%), and teachers (95%). Practicality was rated highly by both teachers (92.33%) and students (84.67%). The effectiveness test showed a significant learning gain with an N-Gain score of 0.65 (high category). Observations revealed active student collaboration through defined group roles, communication, and joint accountability. The CPjBL-based jobsheet effectively enhanced student engagement and machining competencies. Its integration into vocational learning aligns educational practices with industrial expectations and supports the development of collaborative, work-ready graduates.

Abstract

Many Automotive Engineering vocational school graduates end up working outside their field due to pressing economic needs. They tend to choose available jobs rather than wait for jobs that match their skills. Their families' limited financial situation means they don't have the flexibility to wait for job openings in the automotive industry, especially if those jobs require additional skills they haven't yet mastered. This situation reflects the fact that economic factors are the primary driver of career decisions, even when those decisions are not aligned with one's educational background. To address this issue, various strategies can be implemented. One such strategy is strengthening relationships between schools and industry through link and match programs. This study aims to determine the extent to which automotive engineering competence and the type of job pursued influence the job relevance of vocational high school (SMK) automotive graduates. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, and the data were analyzed through simple and multiple regression analysis. The sample consisted of SMK Automotive Engineering graduates in Gunungsitoli who had entered the workforce in 2023–2024. The results showed a significant relationship between automotive engineering competence and the type of job pursued with the job relevance of graduates. Both independent variables made a substantial contribution to the alignment between job and educational background.
