This study aims to improve students' argumentative ability through a jurisprudential inquiry model in Citizenship courses. The research method used is classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests. The results of the study showed an increase in students' argumentative ability from cycle I by 64.1%, cycle II by 71.79%, to cycle III reaching 79.49%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the jurisprudential inquiry model is effective in improving students' argumentative ability.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berargumentasi mahasiswa melalui model jurisprudential inquiry dalam mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berargumentasi mahasiswa dari siklus I sebesar 64,1%, siklus II sebesar 71,79%, hingga siklus III mencapai 79,49%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model jurisprudential inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berargumentasi mahasiswa.
