Hypertension is still one of the problems that exist in the world of health to this day. General public knows it as hypertension because of the increase in blood pressure exceeding the normal limit. According to 'Riskesdas’ data in Southeast Asia in 2018, the number of hypertension patients in Indonesia increased by 34.1% annually. This study uses a correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. Data was collected in July 2024 with a population of 35 respondents and a sample of 33 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria with purposive sampling techniques. Data processing included coding, editing, and tabulating, then analyzed with SPSS software for the Wilcoxon test with an α of 0.05. The study results showed that before the counseling was carried out, as many as 13 respondents had poor self-management, while 15 had good self-management after counseling. Meanwhile, the blood pressure results before counseling were 21 respondents with unstable systolic results and 23 respondents with stable diastolics, while after counseling there were 24 respondents with stable systolic results and 33 respondents with stable diastolic. After the Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.003 in self-management, a p-value of 0.001 in systolic blood pressure, and a p-value of 0.002 in diastolic blood pressure, which was smaller than α (0.05). This shows the influence of health counseling on self-management and blood pressure stability in hypertensive patients. This research shows that health counseling is essential to realize good self-management in hypertensive patients so that good blood pressure stability can be achieved.

Cataracts are one of the causes of blindness, successful cataract treatment does not depend on surgery alone. Postoperative care and treatment greatly influences visual outcomes after surgery. The research aims to explain the relationship between the level of treatment compliance and visual acuity in patients after phacomulsification cataract surgery at Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Lumajang. The research design used was analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The target population is 70 patients with cataracts who check up at the eye clinic, the target population is post-cataract surgery patients who are controlled at the eye clinic with a amount of 46 patients. The research sample consisted of 45 respondents who were selected using the Accidental Sampling technique. Data collection used the MMAS-8 questionnaire to measure the level of treatment compliance and the Snellen Chart to measure visual acuity values. Data analysis used the Spearman rank correlation test. The results of measuring the level of compliance with treatment of patients after phacomulsification cataract surgery at Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Lumajang were obtained by 17 patients (37.8%) of the amount respondents who had a low level of treatment compliance. The results of measuring the vision values of 16 patients (35.6%) of the amount respondents had good vision values. The results of data analysis using the Spearman rank correlation test showed a significant relationship between the level of treatment compliance and vision scores with a value of ρ = 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that the more compliant the treatment is, the better the visual acuity score. Research shows that patient compliance with post-cataract surgery treatment is critical for optimal recovery. High compliance is associated with improved vision, so disciplined patients tend to have better vision. These findings emphasize that interventions to improve patient compliance should be a top priority in cataract treatment, and postoperative patient compliance needs to be considered

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels associated with abnormal carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism caused by decreased insulin secretion or decreased insulin sensitivity effectively. One of the acute complications in patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) 2 is hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is a blood glucose level ≤ 70 mg / dl (3.9 mmol / L). The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between early detection of signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and hypoglycemia prevention behavior in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at the Yosowilangun Health Center. This study design was descriptive analytical using a cross-sectional method. All patients with type II diabetes mellitus at the Yosowilangun Health Center. This study used a purposive sampling technique. The Amount population is 50 patient. The research sample was 48 respondents. The instrument used for data collection using a questionnaire for early detection of signs and symptoms and prevention of hypoglycemia. Both instruments were categorized as good, sufficient, and lacking. The statistical test used Spearmen-rank with a significance level of 0.05.The results of the study showed that early detection of signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia was sufficient (66.7%) and prevention of hypoglycemia was sufficient (44.8%). The results of data analysis using the Spearmen-rank test showed that the p value was smaller than significant (0.001 <0.05), so there was a correlation between early detection of signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and prevention of hypoglycemia in Type 2 DM patients at the Yosowilangun Health Center. The results of this study can be concluded that Type 2 DM respondents with a history of hypoglycemia can prevent hypoglycemia through knowledge of the signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia, so that they can minimize recurrent hypoglycemia. This can be recommended for health services that early detection of the disease as a guideline in treating Type 2 DM patients with hypoglycemia

DM is a group of metabolic diseases with characteristics of hyperglycaemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Skin sugar levels constitute 55% of blood sugar levels in ordinary people. In patients with diabetes, the ratio increases to 69-71% of blood glucose that has been elevated. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between sugar level values in patients with dm and the incidence of skin fungus in the skin clinic of Bhayangkara Lumajang hospital. This study was a quantitative study with a r etrospective design, and is a type of correlational research. The sample size was 41 patients with total sampling technique. Data were collected by observing patient medical record data from January 2022 - December 2023 and using an instrument in the form of a checklist, then the data were analysed using the Spearman rank test. According to the results, the majority of patients (63,4%) had high blood sugar levels when they checked into the Skin Clinic, and the majority of patients (58,5%) had skin events meeting severe criteria. The results of the analysis test showed a Sig.(2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0,05 and r (correlation coefficient) = +0,701, meaning that there is a relationship between blood sugar values in patients with DM and the incidence of skin fungus in the Dermatology Clinic of Bhayangkara Lumajang Hospital. As an effort to improve the quality of services at the skin clinic, this research requires support from management in the form of a standard operating procedure so that every patient diagnosed with skin fungus is also checked for blood sugar considering that there is a strong relationship between sugar levels and the incidence of skin fungus
