Background: Premature birth is still a crucial problem for children worldwide. In Indonesia, the 5th highest preterm birth rate country, there have been many studies conducted on the success of treating premature babies but more often research on an intervention to address a specific problem faced by premature infants and their families. Rarely, the research examines qualitatively how health workers, including nurses, take careful measures to address all the health problems of premature babies at the same time until they are successful in caring for premature babies.Purpose: This study aims to dig deeper into the success of Indonesian nurses in caring for premature babies.Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive study using focus group discussions (FGD) to obtain data from 17 nurses in the nursery who have experience caring for premature babies. Data from the two FGD groups were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using thematic analysis.Results: Four themes were obtained which described the success of nurses in caring for premature babies, namely (1) the various feelings of nurses when caring for premature babies (2) the attitude of nurses to work (3) the support of nurses to families (4) the work output of nurses.Conclusion: Success in caring for premature babies from a nurse's perspective is successful in returning the baby to a healthy condition and staying healthy while being treated at home without rehospitalization. The success of caring for premature babies requires cooperation between nurses and families. Nurse support for the family will enable the family to participate actively during care and be able to care for premature babies at home.

Contemporary Islamic education is often trapped in cognitive formalism that ignores the affective dimension, thus failing to form students' characters authentically. This study aims to analyze the strategy for integrating Mahabbah (love) values within the "Love Curriculum" at MIS Nurussa’adah Bogor, identify the emerging sociological obstacles, and evaluate its impact on the formation of students' akhlakul karimah. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the integration of Mahabbah values is implemented through a systemic strategy including the "sacralization of general subjects," spiritual culture habituation, and humanist pedagogy that positions teachers as murabbi. A critical finding of this study reveals the challenge of "atmospheric dualism," namely the disconnection between dialogic-affective parenting in the madrasah and repressive discipline or emotional neglect at home, which risks triggering value decay. However, the trans-substantial internalization of values is proven to form a settled character (malakah) and function as a resilient "inner shield" for students in facing domestic environmental contradictions. The novelty of this research lies in the reconstruction of the Love Curriculum as a "character oasis" that not only synergizes intellectual and spiritual intelligence but also builds students' moral resilience in the 5.0 era.

This research aims to determine the improvement in the performance of teachers in the field of study throught preparing lesson plans using collaborative and routine lesson study techniques at SMPN 6 Muaro Bungo. This research is school action research (PTS) using a qualitative approach. The research subjects in the study were social studies teachers and civics teachers. The research period was carries out from 08 October 2022 to 04 November 2022. Research procedures included research planning, research implementation, observation and reflection. The result of the research show that the preparation of lesson plans using the lesson study techique collaboratively and regularly is able to form productive and professional teaching staff in improving the quality of learning, and also effort to increase the performance of teachers in the field of study through the preparationof lesson plans using the lesson study techniques collaboratively and regularly have a big influence on student activities and learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran problem based learning dan sikap kreatif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan treatment by level 2x2, Sampel penelitian berjumlah 48 orang yang terbagi dalam dua kelas perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning mampu memberikan dampak lebih baik bagi peningkatan hasil belajar dibanding strategi ekspositori; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan sikap kreatif terhadap hasil belajar; (3) hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki sikap kreatif tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki sikap kreatif rendah jika diajarkan strategi problem based learning; (4) hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki sikap kreatif rendah lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki sikap kreatif tinggi jika diajar strategi ekspositori. Kata kunci: strategi problem based learning; strategi ekspositori; kreativitas; hasil belajar.

This qualitative case study aims to review and analyze the condition of the information and communication technology (ICT) facilities for the implementation of the computer-based national examination (UNBK), the principal's strategies in implementing UNBK, and the obstacles in implementing UNBK at one of junior high schools in Kota Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. The result of data analysis revealed the lack of facilities for the implementation of UNBK in the school. The principal's strategies in implementing UNBK in the school cover various aspects, such as facilities and infrastructure, human resources, and pupil affairs. Two obstacles emerged i.e., technical and non-technical.

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the effect of sustainable financial decisions on firm value in manufacturing companies and to examine the mediating role of green investment in the relationship. The study is motivated by the growing importance of sustainable finance practices that integrate financial performance with environmental responsibility to support long-term corporate sustainability and the achievement of sustainable development goals. Design/methodology/approach – This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data analysis. The population consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the observation period. The sample is determined using purposive sampling based on the availability of financial and sustainability reports. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and panel regression analysis. Furthermore, the mediating effect of green investment is tested using mediation analysis to evaluate whether green investment strengthens the relationship between sustainable financial decisions and firm value. Findings – The results indicate that sustainable financial decisions have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Additionally, sustainable financial decisions positively influence green investment, suggesting that companies integrating sustainability principles into financial strategies tend to allocate more resources to environmentally friendly investments. The findings also reveal that green investment positively affects firm value and acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between sustainable financial decisions and firm value. This implies that companies that actively invest in environmentally sustainable projects can enhance their market valuation and long-term competitiveness. Originality – This study contributes to the literature on sustainable finance and corporate value creation by integrating the concept of sustainable financial decision-making with green investment in explaining firm value within the manufacturing sector. The research highlights the strategic role of green investment as a mechanism that links financial sustainability practices to value creation, providing practical implications for corporate managers and policymakers in promoting environmentally responsible financial strategies.

Adolescent reproductive health is a crucial issue directly related to the quality of life and future of the younger generation. Adolescent knowledge is a vital foundation for addressing reproductive health issues. Therefore, health promotion media that adapt to the needs and lifestyles of today's adolescents are necessary. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of digital reproduction classes as a learning medium for increasing adolescents' knowledge about reproductive health. It is hoped that this increased knowledge will stimulate awareness of the importance of reproductive health. This research is a single-group experimental study using a pre-post-test design for the trial of the reproductive health classes. The trial was conducted in three stages: a small-scale trial (n=7), a limited-scale trial (n=60), and a large-scale trial (n=380). Data were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test to compare knowledge scores before and after the intervention, and the N-Gain formula was used to assess class effectiveness. The small-scale trial increased the knowledge of 85.7% of participants, with an average increase of 14.3 points. The limited-scale trial showed an average increase of 15 points, while the large-scale trial showed an average increase of 15.54 points, with a p-value of 0.000 (95% CI: 16.67–14.42). The N-Gain score in the small-scale trial was 0.56, compared to 0.47 in the large-scale trial. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the class in improving adolescents' knowledge. These findings reinforce the potential of online learning as an innovation in health promotion.

Penguatan moderasi beragama menjadi agenda penting untuk menjaga harmoni sosial di masyarakat yang beragam. Perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam memiliki peran kunci dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi kepada mahasiswa, termasuk melalui program di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah. Namun, pemahaman mahasiswa tentang moderasi beragama masih sering bersifat umum dan belum lengkap. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pendidikan yang lebih efektif dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat pemahaman moderasi beragama di kalangan mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau melalui pendekatan Living Values Education. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok, refleksi, dan simulasi penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang moderasi beragama secara lebih lengkap. Peserta tidak hanya memahami moderasi sebagai toleransi, tetapi juga sebagai cara beragama yang menekankan keseimbangan, keadilan, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman sosial. Dengan begitu, Living Values Education bisa menjadi strategi efektif memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di kalangan mahasiswa.

Inflammation is a protective response of the body to tissue injury that needs to be controlled to prevent further damage. The use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is effective; however, it has the potential to cause side effects, so safer alternatives are needed. Turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa L.) is known to have anti-inflammatory activity, while hydroxyapatite (HA) is biocompatible and has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of the combination. This study aims to evaluate the anti-inflammatory potential of the combination of turmeric rhizome ethanolic extract and HA in male white mice (Mus musculus). This research method uses an experimental design with an acute inflammation model induced by intraplanar injection of 1% carrageenan. A total of 25 mice were divided into five groups: negative control (0.5% Na-CMC), positive control (diclofenac sodium), and three treatment groups at 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5%. Edema volume was measured every 1 hour for 6 hours and analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by a post hoc test. The results of this study showed that all treatment groups exerted anti-inflammatory effects compared to the negative control, as indicated by decreases in edema volume and the percentage of inflammation and increases in the percentage of inhibition of inflammation, with the 1.5% concentration showing the most optimal effect. These findings indicate that the combination of turmeric rhizome ethanolic extract and HA has potential as an effective anti-inflammatory agent in male white mice.

The repeated use of cooking oil can lead to a decline in oil quality and an increase in free fatty acid (FFA) levels, which may pose adverse health effects when consumed continuously. Therefore, an effective, safe, and sustainable purification method is required to improve the quality of used cooking oil. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of activated carbon derived from duck eggshell waste in reducing FFA levels in used cooking oil. The research employed a laboratory experimental method with a post-test only control group design. Samples of used cooking oil were selected purposively based on a level of degradation representative of real conditions. The preparation of activated carbon began with the carbonisation of duck eggshells, followed by chemical activation using a 3 M phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) solution to enhance surface area and adsorbent porosity. The resulting activated carbon was then applied in the adsorption process of used cooking oil. FFA levels were analysed using the alkalimetric titration method. The results showed that the activated carbon significantly reduced FFA levels from 1.57% to 0.22%, with a reduction efficiency of 75%. This final value complies with the quality standard for cooking oil according to SNI 3741:2013 (≤0.3%). Furthermore, the produced activated carbon exhibited favourable characteristics, as indicated by a high iodine adsorption capacity and well-developed pore structure. In conclusion, activated carbon derived from duck eggshells is effective as an adsorbent for reducing FFA levels in used cooking oil and shows strong potential as an environmentally friendly and economically valuable solution.
