Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains pada mata pelajaran kimia berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep kimia siswa. Hidrolisis garam merupakan salah satu materi kimia yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena memiliki karakteristik yang abstrak sehingga membutuhkan kemampuan berpikir tinggi untuk memahaminya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi hidrolisis garam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas, teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dan soal tes objektif beralasan yang dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil analisis keterampilan proses sains pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai 78,97 > 77,36. Sedangkan hasil analisis pemahaman konsep pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai masing-masing sebesar 79 dan 70. Berdasarkan hasil uji one way anova diperoleh F hitung sebesar 5,07 karena F hitung > F tabel (5,07 > 4,06) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving dengan pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi hidrolisis garam.

Proses pembelajaran dikelas masih didominasi oleh strategi pembelajaran konvensional satu arah yang hanya bertumpu kepada dosen. Hal ini menyebabkan minat belajar dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa akan menjadi rendah, sehingga akan berdampak pada prestasi belajar mereka. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, menuntut pembelajaran sains sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan tuntutan perubahan. IKIP Mataram sebagai LPTK melalui Fakultas MIPA, memiliki tanggung jawab untuk membentuk karakter para pendidik yang akan mengajarkan sains di sekolah yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi. Untuk mencetak para pendidik yang berkualitas tersebut perlu dilakukan terobosan melalui perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran.Salah satu faktor yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ini adalah dosen. Karena dosen memegang peran sentral dalam menciptakan kondisi belajar yang kondusif dan menarik bagi mahasiswa, sehingga akan meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tersebut dapat dilakukan menggunakan model Lesson Study. Lesson study dapat diartikan sebagai program in-service training guru atau dosen yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan. Lesson study dilakukan di dalam kelas dengan tujuan untuk memahami mahasiswa dengan lebih baik dan dilakukan secara bersama-sama dengan guru atau dosen lain. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah dikemukakan, untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di IKIP Mataram khususnya di jurusan kimia Fakultas MIPA, maka perlu untuk dilakukan model lesson study dalam pembelajaran dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di IKIP Mataram, sehingga dapat mencetak para pendidik yang berkualitas dan bermutu untuk mengembangkan pendidikan khususnya di Nusa Tenggara Barat sesuai dengan visi dan misi IKIP Mataram. Berdasarkan hasil peneitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan lesson study maka dosen mampu mengidentifikasi masalah yang ditemui dalam proses perkuliahan yang dilaksanakan. Dengan demikian maka dosen secara kolaboratif mencari solusi permasalahan dan melaksanakannya pada kegiatan perkuliahan berikutnya. Hal ini menjadikan situasi perkuliahan lebih dinamis sehingga mampu memotivasi mahasiswa dan berdampak terhadap hasil belajarnya.

This study animed to obtain the from and feasibility of teaching materialsinteractive multimedia based on virtual laboratory on colloidal systemconcept for SMA. The development model used in this study was 4D namelyDefine, Design,, Development, And Disseminate. But in this study only cameto Development stage. The velopment result was validated by 2 lecturers, 1teacher and 10 students in Ma Nurul Muhsinin. Based on the assessment oftwo lecturers as validatorn got the average (71,3%) with the appropriatecategory, the validation result from the subject teachers got percentage of(77,7%) with appropriate category, and the limited trial result by 10 studentsgot percentage of (80,8%) with decent category. So it can be concluded thatthe feasibility of interactive multimedia based on virtual laboratory oncolloidal system material for SMA/MA/SMK was feasible to use.

Chemistry investigates interactions and reactions of particles as atom, ion, molecule, and their tendencies. Interactions occurred are so abstract that make them become difficult to be observed and documented. This becomes a problem in learning chemistry. It happens due to the separation of macroscopic and microscopic concepts. In fact, to be able to obtain the concept of chemistry as whole requires learning model which can integrate three aspects namely macroscopic, symbolic-conducted through practicum, and microscopic-conducted through modeling interactive media. This study aimed to developed interactive learning media for fundamental chemistry class. This study belongs to Educational Research and Development. In general, there were three steps conducted by the researcher namely analyzing, designing, and developing. Data obtained from this study was in the form of qualitative data consisted of suggestions and responses in likert scale. Validations result in interactive multimedia appearance showed that the average 85 was obtained-this was indicated as very good, in materials appropriateness the average 84 was obtained-this was indicated as good, and in programming appropriateness the average 85 was obtained-this was indicated as very good. The result in small group showed that interactive multimedia development was categorized as very good. This proven by the percentage appropriateness was 93.14%. Further, the researcher hopes that the product of this study can be useful in improving interest, motivation, and concept understanding of chemistry teacher training students so that they can relate learning material to real world in order to conduct meaningful learning.

Praktikum yang dilakukan sejauh ini memang sudah memiliki keterampilan proses sains untuk dinilai. Namun, penilaian yang dilakukan belum maksimal. Mahasiswa masih sangat bergantung pada koordinator praktikum, sehingga keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki mahasiswa tidak berkembang. Pada hakikatnya keterampilan proses sains tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi antara keterampilan proses sains dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada praktikum sifat koligatif larutan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kampus IKIP Mataram. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester genap program studi pendidikan kimia, matematika dan biologi yang berjumlah 138 orang yang memprogramkan mata kuliah kimia dasar II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. . Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dan Lembar soal tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisa data untuk menghitung koefisen korelasi keterampilan proses sains dengan hasil belajar digunakan rumus pearson korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa dalam praktikum sifat koligatif larutan memiliki korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh r sebesar 0,2897 menurut korelasi pearson product moment dan r 0,1676 dengan taraf signifikan 5%.

One of the chemistry conceptsthat was considered difficult by students was acid-base concept. Acid-base conceptwas closely related to everyday life and includes three representations of chemical levels, namely: macroscopic level, microscopic level and symbolic level, so students experience difficulty in learning it. The development of a teaching material in the form of LKS was seen as a solution to this problem. This study aimed to develop teaching materials in the form of POE LKS oriented to green chemistry to foster students' scientific attitudes towards acid-base concepts. This studywas development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)model design. Quantitative data from the results of feasibility validation and the results of assessment of scientific attitudes of students were analyzed by percentage formula and the results of student responses were calculated using N-gain. Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions for improvement from the validator. The validator's assessment of the results of the development obtained an average percentage of 83.2%, 84%, 81.6%, and 78.93%. While the responses of students were analyzed using the N-gain test obtained an average score of 0.4 with a moderate category and students' scientific attitude data obtained an average score of 61% with moderate qualifications. This showed that the LKS developed was very feasible to proceed to a broader stage and effectively improve students' scientific attitudes.

This study aims to determine character of student after learning CIRC and effect of CIRC learning to creative thinking skills on atomic structure and the periodic system of unsure matter. This research used an experimental method, the type of quasi experiment with Pretest-posttest control group design. Sample consists of 2 class of experiment class (CIRC learning) and control class (a lecture and question and answer) were selected by Cluster Sampling. Data retrieval research using observation sheet for character development and for creative thinking skills using the form of description test. Data on the observation of student character shows the character of students do not get better after learning CIRC compared with a lecture and question and answer on atomic structure of matter and the periodic system of unsure, as looking the average value of the experiment class is 76,97 lower than the control class is 79,12. Data analysis for hypothesis using u-test with SPSS 15.0 for Windows. Based on data analysis get significant value (0,166) > significant a (0,05). It can be concluded that there is no effect CIRC learning to creative thinking skills on atomic structure of matter and the periodic system of unsure.

Abstract: This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between the power of leg muscles and eye and hand coordination with the smash accuracy of the PPLP women's athlete volleyball in Pekanbaru. The population in this study amounted to 12 people. The sample in this study was PPLP 12 female volleyball athletes. By using sampling techniques, namely total sampling or sampling techniques in full, the women's volleyball team PPLP Pekanbaru athletes totaling 12 people. Results of correlation The women's volleyball team PPLP Pekanbaru athletes where the first analysis between leg muscle power X1 and Y where rtab at a significant level É‘ (0.05) = r_count (0.951)> r_tab (0.602), meaning the hypothesis is accepted and there is a strong relationship between leg muscle power to the accuracy of the women's volleyball smash at PPLP Pekanbaru athletes. From the calculation of the analysis of both X2 and Y, where r_tab at a significant level É‘ (0.05) = means r_count (0.889)> r_tab (0.602), meaning the hypothesis is accepted and there is a strong relationship between eye and hand coordination on the accuracy of PPLP athletes Pekanbaru. The third analysis of the relationship of leg muscle power (X1) eye and hand coordination (X2) with smash (Y) where rtab at a significant level É‘ (0.05) = r_count (0.953)> r_tab (0.602), it can be concluded that the relationship between (X1) and (X2) with (Y) or the relationship of leg muscle power and eye and hand coordination with smash in strong interpretations.Key Words: Power of Leg Muscles, Eye and Hand Coordination, Smash Accuracy

The aim of this study are to describe the EFL learners’ reading habit, the factors influence of reading habit, and the impact of the use Online Reading Resources on promoting students’ reading habit. 156 EFL learners FKIP- Islamic University of Riau involved as participants who read by using online reading resources. The study employed questionnaire, reading log, and interview intensively to collect the data. The results of analysis data from instruments were used in this study reflected that the use of online reading resources as a source of reading material has changed the reading habits of the learners, from conventional reading cultures into integrated the new technologies in reading process. There were 75% students already have got reading habit. It was significant increase than before. Besides that, online reading resources also provided positive changes for students who have low motivation in reading to be a fun reading activity. Supporting of teacher, parents, and environment help the learners establish their reading habit. The significant reason of learners get the reading habit was to complete the task. The result implies that the learners expected to read more and intensively to get the greatly reading habit. In conclusion, online reading resources are helpful to work the task, to get much information, and to improve learners’ knowledge in reading.

The students at the Second Semester of English Study Program of FKIP-UIR Pekanbaru have problem in reading comprehension. The aim of this research is to find out whether Online Reading Resources has significant effect towards students’ reading comprehension in extensive reading class. The design of the research was experimental research which focused on quantitative approach. The participants of the research were the second semester students of English Study Program of FKIP-UIR Pekanbaru. There are two classes as the samples of this research; experimental group and control group. Each of the group consisted of 31 students. The instruments of this research was reading test. Experimental group was provided with pre-test, treatment, and post-test. Meanwhile control group only given pre-test, and post-test. The finding showed that the mean score in pre- test was 57.25 and post test was 78.07, the improvement was 20.8 for experimental group. Meanwhile for control group in pre-test, the students got the mean score 58.07, and in post-test got 64.67, improvement was 6.61. It could be stated that there is significant effect of online reading resources after getting treatment. In calculation of analysis tt (t table) on the level of significant 5% found 0.361, and to was 7.1. It could be seen a comparison was 7.1>0.361or (to>tt). It means that the null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothesis is accepted. It can be stated there is a significant effect of students’ reading comprehension in extensive reading class after using online reading resource in teaching and learning reading at the second semester of English Study program FKIP-UIR Pekanbaru.
