Achievement or job performance is the qualitative and quantitative result of work done when tasks are completed in accordance with assigned responsibilities. Performance is a measure of the success of health services and reflects the responsibilities of service organizations within the framework of good governance. Hospital Performance refers to the realization of the goals set by medical and administrative personnel. The Institute of Management Development (IMD) stated in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2022 report that Indonesia's competitiveness has now risen from 38th in 2020 to 44th. According to the results of Nurdin Hamzah Hospital's 2022 staff performance review, it is still not the best in terms of average performance. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership and discipline on job motivation and its impact on employee performance in the direct service area of Nurdin Hamzah General Hospital, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The sample is drawn in the way of overall sampling, drawn from all direct service personnel, up to 108 people. According to the results of partial significance test (t statistical test), it is found that the leadership part has a significant impact on employee performance, the discipline part has no significant impact on employee performance, and the motivation part has a significant impact on employee performance. Based on the results of simultaneous analysis (F-test), the model in this study was proved to be correct/feasible. From this it can be concluded that leadership and discipline simultaneously affect performance through variable motivation.

Disaster preparedness is an important thing to accomplish. One way to improve preparedness behavior is through education. Preparedness Integration Education is an innovative educational method that integrates several methods and interactive media including the presentation of educational videos, focus group discussions (FGD) and simulations so that they become a series of disaster preparedness education procedures. The purpose of this activity is to improve community preparedness behavior in dealing with volcanic eruptions. This activity method is carried out in several stages including preparation, implementation and evaluation. The assessment instrument used a behavioral questionnaire that was guided by the five-parameter preparedness framework developed by LIPI in collaboration with UNESCO/ISDR in 2006. This activity was carried out using a nonequivalent pretest and posttest control group design involving 28 respondents from the community in each intervention group and control group who were taken using a non-probability sampling technique with the purposive sampling method. The intervention group was given preparedness integration education while the control group was given lecture method education. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. This activity involved 28 respondents with an age range of 17-25 years. As for the evaluation of this activity, a quantitative analytic test was carried out with a non-equivalent one-group pretest and -posttest control group design with data on community behavior measurement in Dufa-dufa Village, North Ternate District. The evaluation results showed that people's behavior increased from 66.54% to 83.89% with p=0.000 after being given Preparedness Integration Education. Improved community behavior after being given Integrated Preparedness Education proves that disaster preparedness education that is oriented towards interactive media and sustainable methods where the educational information obtained can be directly practiced has a good influence on community preparedness behavior in dealing with volcanic eruptions. Based on these results it can be concluded that Preparedness Integration Education can improve community behavior regarding volcanic eruption preparedness. Keywords: Disaster, education, behavior.

Sexual education is teaching given by parents to their children so that a child can prevent sexual violence from being suspected of occurring. This study aims to determine the effect of parental sexual education in early childhood on the incidence of sexual abuse. The research method used the literature review method, which was traced using the Google Scholar, PubMed, and ProQuest (2016-2021) databases which found 11 journals. Results from all journals reviewed, it shows that there is an effect of parental sexual education in early childhood on the incidence of sexual abuse. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mengungkap pengaruh keadilan organisasi terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah tenaga kependidikan yaitu; pengelola, staf, karyawan, dan pegawai yang ada dilingkungan Universitas swasta di Mataram dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 227 orang yang tersebar di 5 (lima) Universitas Swasta di Mataram. Sampel penelitian ini adalah tenaga kependidikan kecuali dosen sebanyak 69 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah probability sampling dengan menggunakan proportionate random sampling. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keadilan organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan dengan kontribusi nilai sebesar 38%.

Dunia pendidikan merupakan pendukung dari perkembangan zaman saat ini, dimana dengan adanya lembaga pendidikan, semua bidang dapat dipelajari. Ada dua jenis pendidikan yaitu formal dan informal, yang antara keduanya memiliki tujuan yang sama yaitu memberikan atau menyampaikan ilmu pengetahuan untuk bekal anak – anak bangsa. Proses pendidikan perguruan tinggi akan terjadi jika terdapat interaksi dari 2 komponen utamanya yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa. Antara dosen dan mahasiswa akan terjadi korelasi dan kolaborasi dalam mencapai visi dan misi perguruan tinggi tersebut. Manusia sebagai mahluk individu dan juga mahluk sosial senantiasa dihadapkan kepada berbagai persoalan dan masalah yang dijumpai hamper disetiap sisi kehidupannya. Semua bentuk persoalan dan masalah tersebut menuntut adanya pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dari sejumlah alternatif pemecahan agar semua yang direncanakan dapat tercapai secara optimal. Begitu pula halnya posisi dan kedudukan seseorang dalam organisasi maupun lembaga pendidikan, terkait dengan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang harus dilaksanakan, sering pula dihadapkan berbagai permasalahan – pemasalahan dan keputusan – keputusan yang harus diambil secara tetap agar roda organisasi atau lembaga pendidikan beserta administrasinya dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pengambilan keputusan adalah inti dari kehidupan organisasi, termasuk organisasi penyelenggaraan pendidikan.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Franchise dalam Syariah Entrepreneurship Perspektif Islam. Metode yang digunakan ialah kepustakaan (library research). Metode ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep hukum benda, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, pendekatan normatif-ekonomi dan sosiologi. Bisnis franchise merupakan sistem usaha bisnis yang saat ini banyak digemari oleh masyarakat. Melalui sistem franchise, berkegiatan bisnis menjadi lebih mudah. Sebab, bisnis waralaba menggunakan sistem bisnis dimana franchisor memberikan hak kepada franchisee untuk dapat menggunakan atau memanfaatkan hak atas kekayaan intelektual atau penemuan yang dimiliki oleh franchisor melalui suatu perjanjian. franchise dibenarkan menurut hukum Islam sepanjang memenuhi rukun dan syarat perjanjian, terpenuhi pula prinsip-prinsip bermuamalah. Bisnis waralaba membuka banyak peluang usaha bagi masyarakat dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam bisnis waralaba sendiri diterapkan keterbukaan, kejujuran, dan kehati-hatian. Meskipun kehadirannya membawa dampak terhadap usaha kecil yang ada disekitarnya, namun persaingan yang tercipta adalah persaingan yang sehat. Model bisnis franchise pada dasarnya merupakan turunan atau perkembangan dari bentuk syirkah. Dalam skema bisnis Franchise syarat akad seperti persentase bagi hasil, harus dinyatakan secara lengkap dan jelas dalam suatu perjanjian berdasarkan akad syirkah. Communication and collaboration are essential skills that students must master in the 21st century. These skills can be raised and improved through systematic learning, such as the STEM approach. This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based e-learning applications on high school students’ 2C (communication and collaboration) skills on wave material. This type of research was quasi-experimental, using the pretest-posttest method. The population of this study was 11th-grade students of the science program at public senior high school number 2 Palembang. Data analysis techniques used quantitative data analysis techniques to analyze the data collected from students’ 2C skills achievement scores. The results of data analysis on the average pretest on communication skills got a value of 54, while collaboration skill was 55. After applying STEM-based e-learning on wave material, the average post-test scores on communication and collaboration skills were 82.7 and 85.7. It showed that the students’ 2C skills increased after using STEM-based e-learning on wave material. The main finding of this study was that the application of STEM-based e-learning on wave material effectively improved students’ 2C (communication and collaboration) skills. It was evidenced by the analysis results of the N-gain test, which showed that students with communication skills scored 0.62 in the medium category and 0.68 in the medium category for collaboration skills.

Indonesia is a country located at the confluence of the Indo-Australian and Eurasian plates, which collide with each other, one of which is off the west coast of the island of Sumatra. This situation carries a significant risk of triggering a tsunami disaster. To minimize these risks, it is necessary to provide disaster awareness to all groups, especially students. This study aims to produce an e-booklet on integrated wave material for tsunami disaster mitigation on the outermost islands of Sumatra's west coast. The study employs a research and development methodology. The research instruments were questionnaires, interview guides, validation sheets, and questions. We conducted descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative data analysis. The research results led to the production of an integrated e-booklet for tsunami disaster mitigation, tailored to the region's potential in mitigation efforts. The level of disaster preparedness after using the e-booklet is included in the high preparedness category. The relationship between knowledge and level of disaster preparedness is linear. So that this e-booklet can be used as teaching material to provide disaster preparedness on the outermost islands of the west coast of Sumatra.

This research applies the Toulmin Argumentation Model in identifying the argumentation structure and proving the identity property of a group with an inductive and intuitive approach. This research is qualitative descriptive research, and the instrument is one problem of proving the identity property of a group. Data were collected from a cohort of 30 students who enrolled in the Introduction to Ring Theory course. All participants selected one Subject based on complete and correct answers for further analysis. The results showed that the Subject used his intuition to take one element, which would then be proven as the identity element of a group. Then, the Subject used an Inductive Warrant to prove it. The Subject only takes one element that fulfils the identity property. However, the Subject states that the conclusion applies in general, which makes the argument invalid because valid arguments are based on deductive. At the same time, students at the college level should use a deductive approach to proof. By using the Toulmin Argumentation Model, the subject's ability to formulate and construct arguments in a proof can be seen as structured and clear. This model allows a systematic explanation and strengthens confidence in the validity of the evidence. This research is expected to enrich the understanding of argumentation structure in inductive proofs of group identity properties and show the potential use of the Toulmin Argumentation Model in identifying more in-depth mathematical argumentation. Penelitian ini menerapkan Model Argumentasi Toulmin dalam mengidentifikasi struktur argumentasi pada pembuktian sifat identitas suatu grup dengan pendekatan induktif dan intuitif. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dekriptif kualitatif, dan instrumen berupa satu soal pembuktian sifat identitas suatu grup. Data diperoleh dari 30 mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Teori Gelanggang. Dari seluruh partisipan, satu subjek dipilih berdasarkan jawaban lengkap dan benar untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek menggunakan intuisinya dalam mengambil satu elemen yang kemudian akan dibuktikan sebagai elemen identitas suatu Grup. Kemudian Subjek menggunakan Warrant Induktif dalam membuktikannya. Subjek hanya mengambil satu elemen yang memenuhi sifat identitas, namun subjek menyatakan bahwa kesimpulan tersebut berlaku secara umum, yang menjadikan argumenya tidak valid. Karena argumen yang valid didasari pada deduktif. Padahal mahasiswa di tingkat perguruan tinggi seharusnya menggunakan pendekatan deduktif dalam pembuktian. Dengan menggunakan Model Argumentasi Toulmin, kemampuan Subjek dalam merumuskan mengonstruksi argumen dalam pembuktian dapat terlihat terstruktur dan jelas. Model ini memungkinkan penjelasan yang sistematis dan memperkuat kepercayaan terhadap validitas pembuktian. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan kekuatan metode induktif dan intuitif dalam pembuktian matematika, menunjukkan bagaimana pendekatan ini dapat menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang pembuktian matematika. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pemahaman mengenai struktur argumentasi dalam pembuktian induktif sifat identitas grup dan menunjukkan potensi penggunaan Model Argumentasi Toulmin dalam mengidentifikasi argumentasi matematika yang lebih mendalam.

Sudu turbin savonius yang berbentuk cekung saat menerima tekanan udara dan cembung saat berputar searah rotasi turbin menjadikan turbin savonius memiliki efisiensi yang cukup rendah dibandingkan dengan turbin jenis lainnya. Hal ini menjadi objek perhatian para peneliti untuk merekayasa bentuk dan perlakuan pada turbin savonius agar dapat meningkatkan performa turbin savonius. Diantaranya dengan mengamati medan aliran yang terjadi di sekitar turbin savonius. Pada penelitian ini digunakan simulasi numerik aliran fluida pada turbin savonius dua sudu menggunakan CFD dengan viscous model spalart allmaras. Diameter sudu (d); 150 mm, Gap (e); 22,5 mm, Diameter luar (D0); 323 mm. Savonius pada penelitian ini berputar searah jarum jam atau clockwise (CW). Berdasarkan contour kecepatan yang dihasilkan, dragging flow pada penelitian ini terbentuk pada sisi cekung blade yang bergerak maju (advancing blade) dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja turbin savonius. Hal ini dipertegas dengan visualisasi contour tekanan. Tekanan pada sisi cekung adalah nilai tekanan terbesar pada kedua blade. Sedangkan stagnation flow yang terbentuk dapat diamati dengan nilai tekanan pada sisi cembung blade yang berputar ke arah up stream (advancing blade) dan hal tersebut berkontribusi mengurangi torsi blade.
