Abstract

This research explores the interactions between green technology investment, renewable technology adoption, and their effects on carbon emission reduction, energy efficiency, and job satisfaction in manufacturing firms. Using a diverse sample of manufacturing firms, this study employs Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze the relationships among these key variables. The findings suggest a strong positive impact of green technology investment and renewable technology adoption on carbon emission reduction. In addition, green technology investment emerged as a significant driver of energy efficiency. The study also highlights the challenges in fully optimizing energy efficiency and reveals the positive impact of renewable technology adoption on job satisfaction. These insights have far-reaching implications for policymakers and industry leaders looking to drive sustainable practices in the manufacturing sector.

Abstract

This research conducts a thorough document analysis to examine the roles of the Constitution, Legislature, and Judiciary in maintaining government effectiveness in Indonesia. The historical evolution of the Indonesian Constitution is explored, emphasizing its dynamic nature and adaptability to the nation's political and societal changes. The study delves into the separation of powers, constitutional safeguards, and specific provisions influencing government effectiveness. Legislative analysis scrutinizes key acts shaping government operations, emphasizing the role of the legislature in oversight and accountability. Judicial analysis focuses on judicial review, the enforcement of the rule of law, and the judiciary's contributions to legal precedents. Interactions between the three pillars are examined for collaborative synergies and potential challenges. Comparative perspectives and implications for policymakers and legal scholars are discussed, along with recommendations for enhancing government effectiveness. The research identifies future research directions, contributing to a nuanced understanding of the governance landscape in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Indonesian creative industry stands at the intersection of cultural richness, technological advancements, and economic potential. This research undertakes a quantitative analysis to unravel the challenges and opportunities in implementing an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection system for creative industry development in Indonesia. The study involves 100 respondents representing diverse segments of the creative industry. Findings reveal a nuanced landscape, with varying perceptions of the current IPR protection system, significant concerns about challenges such as piracy, and optimistic views on growth opportunities through digital platforms, collaborations, and global markets. Recommendations from creative professionals emphasize the need for legal reforms, increased awareness campaigns, and collaborative efforts. This research contributes valuable insights to inform policymakers, industry practitioners, and stakeholders in fostering a robust and dynamic creative industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

The determination of age limits for presidential and vice-presidential candidates in Indonesia has been the subject of debate in legal and public circles. This research uses comprehensive analysis to explore the legal dynamics surrounding the age eligibility criteria for this high executive office, focusing on judicial interpretations, public perspectives, and policy implications. By examining constitutional provisions, judicial interpretations, public discourse and scholarly works, this research sheds light on the complexities and implications of age-limit provisions in Indonesia's electoral system. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the legal, political and social dimensions that shape age eligibility criteria and their implications for democratic governance.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Law No. 17 Year 2003 on promoting sustainable financial performance among State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia through a qualitative analysis. Interviews were conducted with 10 key informants, including government officials, SOE executives, and industry experts, and data were analyzed using NVivo software. The analysis revealed insights into regulatory compliance, corporate governance practices, strategic decision-making, and challenges and opportunities facing Indonesian SOEs. Despite regulatory challenges such as inconsistent enforcement and political interference, opportunities for improvement including regulatory reforms, stakeholder engagement, and organizational reforms were identified. The findings highlight the complex dynamics influencing SOE performance and underscore the need for collaborative efforts to enhance transparency, accountability, and competitiveness within Indonesian SOEs.

This research employs a qualitative approach to explore the multifaceted effects of this decision on tax-related behaviors and perceptions within the Indonesian business community. Through in-depth interviews, thematic analysis, and theoretical frameworks, this study aims to provide insights into how constitutional court decisions shape tax compliance and fairness perceptions in a developing economy like Indonesia. The findings of this research contribute to the understanding of legal influences on tax behavior and inform policy recommendations aimed at enhancing tax compliance and fairness in Indonesia.

Abstract

Consumer protection in the digital age presents unique challenges and opportunities, particularly in the context of emerging platforms like TikTok Shop. This study undertakes a comparative analysis of the legal aspects of consumer protection in e-commerce transactions and TikTok shops in Indonesia. Through a normative approach, key similarities, differences, challenges, and opportunities are identified, shedding light on the evolving regulatory landscape and its implications for consumers, businesses, and policymakers. Findings highlight the need for adaptive regulation, enhanced enforcement mechanisms, industry collaboration, and consumer empowerment to ensure a fair, transparent, and accountable digital commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

This study investigates the intricate dynamics of corporate governance in publicly traded companies in Indonesia, focusing particularly on the interaction of Audit Quality, Auditor Independence, Financial Reporting Transparency, and Internal Control Effectiveness. The present study showcases the development of a comprehensive measurement model, hence offering empirical support for the reliability and validity of the chosen constructs. The utilization of structural equation modeling reveals statistically significant positive correlations, indicating that heightened levels of Audit Quality, Auditor Independence, and Financial Reporting Transparency are associated with enhanced Internal Control Effectiveness. The model fit assessment confirms the adequacy of the proposed structural equation model in capturing the observed covariance structure. The explained variance in Internal Control Effectiveness highlights the substantial impact of these governance elements. These findings offer valuable insights for stakeholders and policymakers seeking to fortify corporate governance practices in the Indonesian business landscape.

Abstract

This paper explores the changing environment of research trends and problems in accounting information through a thorough bibliometric analysis. With the aid of sophisticated visualization tools such as Vosviewer and the databases Scopus and Web of Science, we examine a selected dataset of academic papers from 1963 to 2023. Within the domain, our analysis reveals topic clusters, keyword occurrences, collaborative networks, and influential works. Interdisciplinarity is highlighted by collaborative networks, which highlight the increasing convergence of accounting, finance, economics, and technology. Citation analysis identifies important works that have influenced the subject and provides insights into long-lasting contributions. Thematic clusters offer academics a way to navigate a variety of study frontiers, from the complex relationships between accounting standards and the capital market to the revolutionary impact of technology. The continuous emphasis on accounting information systems is highlighted by keyword occurrence analysis, which also reveals new themes like big data and the internet. The amalgamation of these discoveries functions as a guide for academics, professionals, and decision-makers, directing forthcoming research projects towards domains of importance, novelty, and cross-disciplinary investigation.

This research conducts a bibliometric analysis to examine the development of international accounting research over the past two decades. Utilizing a quantitative approach, we explore clusters, highly cited publications, and keyword occurrences within the literature. The analysis reveals six distinct clusters, each highlighting key themes such as challenges in the accounting profession, financial accounting practices, cultural influences, governance dynamics, and value relevance. Additionally, the study identifies highly cited publications that have significantly influenced the international accounting discourse, offering insights into pivotal works that have shaped the field. Keyword analysis further unveils prevalent and less explored themes, with terms like "Firm," "Market," and "Accountant" emerging prominently. The abstract concludes by discussing the implications for future research, emphasizing potential avenues for exploration and the need for a nuanced understanding of the multifaceted landscape of international accounting.
