The spread of infectious diseases is a global problem that requires effective approaches for prediction and management. In recent years, Big Data technology has become a major concern in the healthcare field due to its ability to quickly collect, store and analyze large and diverse volumes of data. This opens up new opportunities to improve prediction and management of the spread of infectious diseases. This research aims to investigate the role of Big Data technology in predicting and managing the spread of infectious diseases. We want to identify effective methods for using big data to predict disease spread patterns and manage responses to them. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method in the form of literature analysis about the use of Big Data technology in the health sector, case studies of the implementation of Big Data systems to predict the spread of disease. The research results show that Big Data technology can improve predictions of the spread of infectious diseases by integrating data from various sources, including clinical, geographic, demographic and social data. Integrated Big Data systems can provide a better understanding of the factors that influence the spread of disease and enable faster and more effective decision making in responding to outbreaks. The conclusion of this research is that it confirms that Big Data technology has great potential in improving the prediction and management of the spread of infectious diseases. By effectively leveraging big data, we can improve our understanding of the dynamics of disease spread and implement more timely and efficient intervention strategies. Therefore, further investment and development in Big Data technology in the health sector is essential to strengthen capacity to face global health challenges.

Background. Background Customary law is a legal system that has existed since ancient times in many communities in Indonesia. However, with modernization and globalization, the use of customary law in land dispute resolution is often overlooked or defeated by positive law. Therefore, it is important to conduct a comparative analysis of the use of customary law in land dispute resolution to understand its relevance in the context of modern law. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to investigate the comparative use of customary law and positive law in land dispute resolution. The specific objective is to evaluate the effectiveness, fairness and sustainability of each approach in resolving land conflicts. Method. The research method used is a case study approach. Case studies were conducted on several cases of land dispute resolution in various regions in Indonesia involving the use of customary law and positive law. Results. The results show that the use of customary law in land dispute resolution often provides solutions that are more in line with local needs and traditional values of the community. However, positive law also has an important role in providing legal certainty and protection of individual rights. Conclusion. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, it is concluded that both approaches have their own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the integration between customary law and positive law can be a more optimal solution in resolving land disputes in Indonesia, by taking into account the local context and individual rights in a balanced manner.

Background. Research Background Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an important component in accelerating the economic growth of developing countries. As competitive tax rates can be an important factor in foreign investors' investment location selection, income tax policy has been the focus of attention in an effort to attract FDI. However, the real impact of these tax policies on foreign direct investment flows in developing countries is still in doubt. Purpose. This study aims to understand whether a reduction or increase in income tax rates has a significant impact on the amount and flow of foreign direct investment in developing countries, using panel data analysis. This research is expected to enhance the understanding of the role of tax policy in attracting FDI and its implications for the economic growth of developing countries. Method. Results. The analysis shows that developing countries' income tax policies and foreign direct investment are closely linked. The main results show that a reduction in income tax rates tends to increase foreign investment inflows, while an increase in rates can have the opposite effect. In addition, the interaction between tax policy and other economic components, such as political stability and infrastructure, also affects the impact of tax policy on FDI. Conclusion. This study shows that income tax policy plays an important role in determining the level of foreign direct investment in developing countries. Developing countries can increase foreign investment flows by lowering income tax rates. However, to create an effective policy, it is also necessary to consider other aspects such as political stability, regulation, and infrastructure.

Background. The background of this research is driven by the rapid growth of the e-commerce industry, which has changed the business environment around the world. In this situation, consumer protection policies play an important role in regulating the business practices of e-commerce companies to protect the interests of consumers. However, it is possible that the implementation of such policies is not consistent or effective, raising questions about their actual influence on the business practices of e-commerce companies. Purpose. This research aims to thoroughly study how consumer protection policies affect the business practices of e-commerce companies, with a focus on case studies in online marketplaces. It is hoped that this research will gain a better understanding of the extent to which consumer protection policies encourage e-commerce companies to implement responsible and transparent business practices. Method. Primary data were collected through interviews or surveys with e-commerce companies operating in the online marketplaces selected as case studies. To support the results from primary data, secondary data, such as policy documents and company activity reports, were also analysed. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were conducted to find patterns and relationships between consumer protection policies and business practices of e-commerce companies. Results. Studies show that consumer protection policies influence the business practices of e-commerce companies in online marketplaces. Companies that follow these policies tend to implement more ethical business practices, such as ensuring clear product information, return policies, and handling consumer complaints. Conclusion. This research shows that the implementation and enforcement of consumer protection policies are critical to improving the business practices of e-commerce companies. E-commerce companies can build strong consumer trust, strengthen brand image, and guarantee sustainable growth in this competitive industry in the long run.

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation technologies has transformed various aspects of modern life, from labor markets to public services. While AI offers potential for innovation and efficiency, it also raises significant concerns regarding social equity, especially for marginalized and underrepresented communities. These concerns highlight the need for a critical examination of how AI systems may reinforce or mitigate existing societal disparities. This study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities that AI poses to social equity in the age of automation. The research focuses on identifying potential biases in AI-driven decision-making processes and assessing the impact of automation on employment, education, and access to services. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines qualitative interviews with stakeholders from policy, tech industry, and affected communities, alongside quantitative analysis of labor and demographic data. This methodological design allows for a comprehensive understanding of both structural and experiential dimensions of AI’s impact. The findings reveal that while AI has the potential to improve service delivery and expand access to information, its deployment often reflects and amplifies existing inequalities when ethical and inclusive frameworks are absent. Particularly in automated hiring systems and predictive policing, biases embedded in algorithms disproportionately affect vulnerable groups. The study concludes that addressing AI's social equity implications requires intentional design, inclusive policy, and sustained public engagement. As automation continues to reshape society, equity must become a central consideration in AI development and governance.
