This study aimed to identify and analyze self-regulation that mediates the influence of resilience and family environment on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This descriptive research uses the method of explanatory survey with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study were mathematics learning outcomes (Y), resilience (X1), family environment (X2), and self-regulation (Z). Learning outcomes are the dependent variable (endogenous variable). At the same time, resilience and family environment are independent variables (exogenous variable), and self-regulation is a mediating variable (intervening variable) with questionnaires and observations to collect data. This study's population was all class VII students at State Middle School in Serang City, while the sample was randomly selected from as many as 332 students. The collected data is then analyzed using a structural equation model. The results of this study indicate that (i) there is a significant effect of resilience on mathematics learning outcomes, (ii) there is a significant effect of the family environment on student learning outcomes, (iii) there is a significant effect of self-regulation ability on mathematics learning outcomes (iv) there is a significant effect of resilience on students' abilities self-regulation (v) there is a significant influence of the family environment on self-regulation abilities (vi) there is a significant effect of resilience on student learning outcomes through self-regulation abilities (vii) there is a significant influence of the family environment on student learning outcomes through self-regulation abilities (viii) there is a significant influence resilience, family environment, and ability to self-regulate on mathematics learning outcomes. The results of this study imply that the concepts of resilience, family environment, and self-regulation are relevant and can estimate student learning outcomes.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using the STEM approach in learning direct electric circuits to achieve high school students' scientific and practical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental method. This study used two class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class, with the experimental class being the class group that received the STEM learning treatment. In contrast, the control class was the class group that only received the immediate learning model treatment. The research design uses a non-equivalent control group design. The research was carried out in the even semester of 2021-2022 and the place of this research was one of the schools in Serang City, Banten province. The sample consisted of two classes; one class was given the learning treatment with the STEM approach, which served as the experimental class, and the other class received no therapy and functioned as the control class. Each course has 40 students, including 20 male and 20 female students. The average age of students is 17 years. The instrument used in this study was in the form of 10 essay questions. This question covered electric current circuit material with indicators of scientific thinking ability and practice. The instrument used in this study was in the form of 10 essay questions. This question covered electric current circuit material with indicators of scientific thinking ability and practice. The data obtained after the research will be analyzed using N-Gain data analysis. The N-gain result in the experimental class was 0.67, while the control class was 0.46. The N-Gain results of the two types show the same category, namely the good category. However, the N-gain results from the experimental class show a value greater than 21% than the control class. These results prove that learning electric circuits using STEM is more effective than learning directly. The implications of this research are 1) It can foster an understanding of the relationship between the concept of electric circuits with practical skills in assembling electric current circuits, 2) Arouse students' curiosity and activate creative imagination and critical thinking, 3) Help students to understand and experiment with the scientific process.

This study will analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance in determining the value of the company through the Independent Commissioner and the Board of Directors. As a moderating variable, audit quality is used as measured by a dummy variable on the use of big four auditors. The sample used includes 31 companies in the food and beverage industry sub-sector and the miscellaneous goods industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period which were selected by purposive random sampling. After the multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing as well as the coefficient of determination test, the results show that the Independent Commissioner and the Board of Directors have no effect on firm value, because the value created does not provide a significant increase for stakeholders. The same thing also happened to audit quality with the result that there was no effect or weakening on the creation of Company Value because investors did not consider the name of the auditor as long as the audit report was published.

The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of the concept of prospective teachers in applied physics courses by applying the Starter Experiment Approach when the lectures take place. Starter Experiment Approach is an approach used as a tool for students to practice the skills of observation, because in this approach are consecutively trained to formulate problems, formulate temporary answers from the problem formulated (hypothesis), designing experiments, experimenting, and reporting results trial. The research method used quasi experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Research sample is divided into two classes, namely experiment class and control class. The experimental class uses learning with the Starter Experiment Approach learning model while the control class uses the conventional learning model. Based on the result of research, it is found that the average of N-gain understanding of student concept using learning model starter experiment approach is 0,74, mean of N-gain understanding of student concept with conventional learning equal to 0,23. These data suggest that the understanding of physics concepts using the Starter Experiment Approach learning model is higher than the understanding of physics concepts using conventional learning models. Then based on data analysis show that tcount = 14,196 and ttable = 2.01 (5% significance level). This means tcount> ttable, so it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference in the ability of student concept between student groups applying Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) and group of students using conventional learning model. So the application of Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) has a positive effect on the ability to understand the concept of prospective teachers in applied physics courses.
