A manufacturing company is one company that has a large enough impact on the problem of pollution, as well as the waste that will be generated from the company's operating activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of company characteristics on disclosure of corporate social responsibility in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. The characteristics of the company consist of size, profitability, leverage, management ownership, and board size. The sampling technique used in this study uses the purposive sampling method in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX listed in ICMD and listed on the IDX website in 2009-2011. consecutive. Of the 143 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX, only 34 companies met the predetermined criteria for the research sample. The data analysis technique was carried out by using the classical assumption test. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression analysis and statistical analysis in the form of F statistical tests and t statistical tests with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results showed that simultaneously the variable size, leverage profitability, management ownership, and the size of the board of commissioners had an effect on the Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure (CSRD). Partially, size, management ownership, and board size have an effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure (CSRD), while profitability and leverage have no effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure (CSRD).

As it has been widely known that the spectacular characteristics of nanomaterials are strongly dependent on their particle size, crystal structure, and molecular arrangement. The fine structure formation of nanomaterials is inevitable in an attempt of optimizing their promising applications in various fields. One of the notable nanomaterials up to now is hausmannite or Mn3O4. This paper presents a combination of coprecipitation and sonochemical routes in a concurrent way to produce spinel-structured hausmannite nanomaterials. The pH was varied during the synthesis at values of 9, 10, 11, 11.5, and 12. The crystal structure properties were evaluated by X-ray diffractometry (XRD) with the diffraction angle range of 15° - 80°. The functional groups were investigated by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry having wavenumber from 400 to 4000 cm-1. In this study, pH 10 was found to be the best synthesis parameter in producing Mn3O4. Both XRD and FTIR data analyses have agreed on the formation of spinel hausmannite nanomaterials.

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of working capital management on firm value. Corporate governance is used as a moderating variable in this study to explore the role of corporate governance in the relationship between working capital management with corporate values. Program participants of Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) are used as a sample during the period from 2003 to 2011 and listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). We were using simple linear regression and the testing of moderating effects were calculated by Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that the working capital management has an influence on the value of the firm. However, corporate governance variables failed to moderate the relationship between working capital management and enterprise value. It shows that companies and investors in the market still lack concern for the program response and Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) as an assessment of the application of the principles of corporate governance that has been done by the company .Keywords: Working Capital Management, Cash Conversion Cycle, Corporate Governance, Firm Values

This study was aimed to explore how Chinese Muslims, who are individuals with multiple identities, sense their identity and how their identity influences their social interaction. This study used a qualitative approach with a life history method. Two male Chinese Muslims were recruited to be involved in this study. Data collected using semi structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. This study found two main themes namely identity struggle, and social interaction. Both participants have different ways of social struggle because of their different families and surrounding people. The result shows that both participants actively maintain their positive self identity through some identity negotiations. They consciously choose one of their social identities that is suitable and accepted by their surrounding people with whom they are living. In general, this study concludes that both participants are able to adapt to different kind of social interaction by selecting and emphasizing one of their social identities that is appropriate to social context. Thus, they show the ability to deal with multiple identities in healthy ways.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keturunan Tionghoa yang memeluk agama Islam ini memaknai identitasnya sebagai individu dengan identitas majemuk, serta bagaimana identitasnya tersebut mempengaruhi interaksi sosialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif life history dengan partisipan penelitian berjumlah dua orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Proses pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur. Data penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan dan mengidentifikasi dua tema utama, yakni tentang pergulatan identitas, dan interaksi sosial. Kedua partisipan mempunyai pergulatan identitas dengan cara yang berbeda dikarenakan kondisi keluarga dan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua partisipan memiliki strategi untuk menjaga identitas diri yang positif melalui negosiasi identitas. Mereka memilih salah satu dari identitas sosial mereka sesuai dengan lingkungan sekitar mereka. Secara umum, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kedua pertisipan mampu untuk mengadaptasi berbagai jenis interaksi sosial dengan memilih dan menegaskan identitas sosial mereka sesuai dengan konteks. Disamping itu, mereka juga menunjukkan kemampuan mereka untuk memaknai identitas ganda dengan baik.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and multitasking abilities with readiness to change among students. This study used a quantitative correlational method. The total number of 30 members of Psychology Student Association in Universitas Negeri Surabaya was recruited. Data were collected using three instruments, namely self-confidence, multitasking ability, and readiness to change scales. Data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression technique with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows program. The statistical analysis results showed that the hypothesis of this study is approved. It can be concluded that there is a positive relationship of self-confidence and multitasking ability with readiness to change among subjects.Keywords: Self-confidence, multitasking ability, readiness to change, students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan multitasking dengan readiness to change pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Seluruh 30 mahasiswa pengurus Himpunan Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Negeri Surabaya direkrut secara purposif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan multitasking dengan readiness to change. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 24.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan yang bersifat positif antara kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan multitasking dengan readiness to change pada subjek.

The objectives of this research is to examine the effectiveness of attentive relaxation to increase the concentration among students of Vocational High School. Attentive relaxation applied in this research is a relaxation technique with focus on the enhancement of visual sense sensitivity. This attentive relaxation program is based on Robert H.McKim’s theory with three basic phases, which are loosening up, letting go, and going to close. This research was an experiment which apply pre-test and post-test group design. The subject in this research were 60 Vocational High School students consist of 30 students in experimental group and 30 students in control group. This research conducted in Vocational High School Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. The experiment group was given the treatment of attentive relaxation, while the control group was left without treatment. Army alpha test was used to measure learning concentration. The army alpha test was administered to both experiment group and control group in pre-test and post-test conditions. The result found that attentive relaxation increase the learning concentration among Vocational High School students. This can be seen from the increase in learning concentration scores of students in experimental group between before and after the attentive relaxation treatment was given. Attentive relaxation contributes 23,3% in increasing the learning concentration of Vocational High School students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh relaksasi atensi dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar pada siswa SMK. Relaksasi atensi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan sebuah teknik relaksasi yang lebih menekankan pada peningkatan kepekaan indera visual. Program Relaksasi Atensi ini didasarkan pada teori relaksasi atensi dari Robert H. McKim yang dengan tiga tahapan dasar, yaitu loosening up (peregangan), letting go (pembebasan ketegangan), going to close (pendekatan masalah). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental, dengan menggunakan pre-test and post-test group design. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMK yang berjumlah 60 orang yang terdiri dari 30 orang dalam kelompok eksperimen dan 30 orang dalam kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. Pada kelompok eksperimen akan diberi perlakuan berupa relaksasi atensi, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan. Untuk mengukur konsentrasi belajar digunakan tes army alpha. Tes army alpha diberikan kepada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol pada saat pre-test dan post-test. Relaksasi Atensi dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar pada siswa SMK. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan konsentrasi belajar antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan relaksasi atensi. Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan konsentrasi belajar setelah diberi perlakuan relaksasi atensi.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between stress and work motivation among students who have part-time jobs. The subjects of this study were 122 students whose ages ranged from 18 to 26 years old consisting of 68 men and 54 women from different universities in Surabaya and have part-time jobs for at least 6 (six) months in various fields. Sampling was conducted using quota sampling, while data collection is carried out by using a questionnaire. Data were analysed using Pearson’s product moment. The results of data analysis shows that the correlation coefficient is -0.518 with p =0.00 (p <0.05) which means that there is a significant negative relationship between the level of stress and the level of work motivation among students who have part-time jobs. Thus, the lower the level of stress the students have the higher their work motivation and vice versa.Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan stres dengan motivasi bekerja pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 122 mahasiswa dengan rentang usia 18-26 tahun yang terdiri dari 68 laki-laki dan 54 perempuan yang berasal dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Surabaya dan bekerja paruh waktu selama minimal 6 (enam) bulan dalam pelbagai bidang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tekni quota sampling sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan metode Pearson correlation, yaitu product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,518 dengan p=0,00 (p<0,05) yang berarti bahwa ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara tingkat stress dengan tingkat motivasi bekerja pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Makin rendah tingkat stres maka makin tinggi motivasi kerja seorang mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu, begitu pula sebaliknya.
