Problem solving ability is a skill that each student must have in mathematics learning. But the fact is, there were many students who are constrained when faced to solving mathematic problem. This situation happens due to the student’s habit to imitate the teacher’s answer that is given during the learning. When the student is given a different kind of problem, they were confused and not able to finish it. This papers discuss the results of problem-based learning to the problem-solving ability for the junior high school student. The study begins by designing problem-based learning devices, followed by applying of the device in learning process, then examined the impact on the problem solving ability of the junior high school student. The results showed that problem-based learning have a positive impact on the problem solving ability of junior high school student.

The ability to think creatively is an ability that is expected to be mastered by students but is still low. Students lack the ability to solve a problem in a various ways.The purpose of this study is to produce a learning tool based on M-APOS theory to improve students' creative thinking abilities.The research method used in this research is research and development which consists of three stages, namely the initial investigation stage, the development stage and the assessment stage.In this section what is done is the preliminary research stage. The instruments used were interview and questionnaire guidelines.The results of the study are: 1) inadequate school facilities and infrastructure, 2) student learning outcomes are still low because students are accustomed to accept what is taught and do not repeat the lessons at home, 3) worksheets that are used by students is not attractive, 4) in the learning process students prefer group learning, 5) students want the questions contained in LKPD to be daily life problems, 6) the learning environment of students who are in the hills and close to the highway, 7) learning styles favored by students are in the form of solving problems in the form of images related to daily life problems, 8) the appearance of worksheets that are liked by students is LKPD which has pictures and attractive color.

This study discusses professional competency-based mathematics learning tools for vocational high school students. The purpose of this study is to produce a mathematics learning tool that refers to the field of communication and network engineering expertise, as an effort to overcome the difficulties faced by vocational school teachers in teaching mathematics. The research is a development research that refers to the development of the Plomp model with three stages, namely the preliminary research stage, the design stage and the assessment stage. In this article the results of the assessment phase will be discussed which examines the impact of devices that have been developed on students' problem solving abilities in the field of information and communication engineering. The results obtained are an increase in students' problem solving skills that can be seen in improving the ability to understand the problem, linking the problem with the concept that has been learned, setting a solution strategy, using the strategy, checking back and summarizing the results. This ability is highly needed by vocational school students, because in their work they will face many problems that require all of these abilities. Another visible impact of student activities is an increase in student learning activities as indicated by the willingness and perseverance in completing a given task.

Covid pandemic 19 has had a huge impact on education. Large-scale social restrictions make learning only possible at home. Teachers must have alternative means so that learning can be carried out so that learning objectives can be achieved properly. One of the learning media that can be used is learning media through the internet network (online). Online media that can be used include whatsapp, google classroom, zoom, etc. The purpose of this study is to see whether learning through online media can be carried out well in class XI of SMAN 1 Koto Balingka. This research is a descriptive study, literature study and survey method through the analysis of learning documents such as assignments and achievement of students carrying out the tasks given through whatsapp online media. The results of this study are through analysis it can be seen that learning conducted through online is less well implemented because of the internet network constraints where students live less well and burdened students with internet quotas and the still presence of students do not yet have the means for online learning.

Modernization and technology as supporters and solutions in a variety of learning problems, namely limited time to face to face, low self-confidence, limited introverted character, and lack of time flexibility to understand the material in the context of open discussion. The what’sApp application is a solution to existing problems by providing unlimited learning space and without just having to carry out discussions face-to-face. This study aims to bridge the students who have problems with the ability to respond spontaneously to learning material. This media is proven to be able to make the activity of students participating in lectures increase significantly. Learning discussions are made in a WhatsApp group by combining several classes so that there arises competitive learning interest where teaching material is shared with the presenter and respondent groups. The response given in online media using WhatsApp supports the activeness and optimism of learning. This research is a quantitative study by testing hypotheses or solving problems on the basis of theoretical deduction, by measurement using statistical data. This type of quantitative research used is a quantitative associative causal relationship, which is conducted to determine the causal relationship between the independent variable (the variable that affects) and the dependent variable (the variable that is affected). Based on the data collected, it was found that the use of WhatsApp online application media had a significant impact on increasing student motivation in participating in the learning process. This is supported by the percentage reaching 70% of students feeling so excited and freer to use the application with more motivated to be more active in lectures. Based on the results of the research questionnaire also supports that students with a high level of concern for responding to face-to-face classes become very active and helped when conducting discussions via online using the WhatsApp Application.

This study aims to determine the relationship between reading habits and reading interest individually or collectively on the reading comprehension skills of fifth graders at SD Negeri 101772 Tanjung Selamat. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students, which were taken from the entire population of 23 students. The data collection method used a questionnaire for the variables of reading habits and reading interest. As for the variable of reading comprehension skills using a test. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the correlational analysis technique. The results of multiple correlation analysis show that together reading habits and reading interest have a significant relationship with reading comprehension skills. This is evidenced by the calculation that tcount X1 against Y is 3.383, tcount X2 is 2.768, and Fcount is 6.393 > Ftable = 3.493 at a significance level of 0.05; and based on the correlation coefficient of product moment X1 to Y of 0.594, the correlation coefficient of product moment X2 to Y of 0.517, and the multiple correlation coefficient obtained by r of 0.624 means that the level of relationship between reading habits and reading interest on reading comprehension skills is included in the strong category with the coefficient of determination obtained of 0.390 or 39% reading comprehension skills are influenced by reading habits and reading interest. This study aims to increase motivation to learn science through a scientific-based approach to the natural environment on plant parts and their functions in grade IV SDN 101772 Tanjung Selamat, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, totaling 15 people and 1 teacher, namely the fourth grade homeroom teacher. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative.How to increase students' motivation to learn science is by conducting learning in the environment around the school by utilizing plants as learning resources, dividing students into groups and then guiding students to make observations. The results showed that from the results of observations made by researchers, they saw that there were differences in the attitudes of students' enthusiasm for learning to be more active and enthusiastic when learning was carried out in the natural environment. And the results of student interviews showed that of the fifteen students who took part in learning in the natural environment, only two students did not like learning in the environment. This shows that learning by using the approach of the natural environment is a fun learning that can foster motivation in students towards learning.Keywords: Learning motivation, Environmental Approach

The background of this research is the low learning achievement of students in science learning due to the factors of learning difficulties experienced by fourth grade elementary school students, especially students' psychological factors. Learning difficulties experienced by students resulted in low achievement in science subjects. The research was conducted to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties experienced by fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the fourth grade elementary school students, totaling 26 students and those who had learning difficulties, namely students who had KKM scores that did not meet the 18 students. Data collection in this study was done by interview, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described about students' learning difficulties in science subjects in grade IV SD Private Muhammadiyah Pancur Batu, it shows that from the results of interviews and observations of students there are still many who are not interested in learning science because students have difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in language and not accompanied by supportive media, low student concentration, poor study habits, low intelligence and lack of motivation given by parents. Tujuan dari penelitian ini tercipta aplikasi sistem pendukung kepuusan penerimaaan karyawan dengan metode Technique For Order Preference By Similary To Deal Solution(Topsis)di PT. Eska Indo Jaya Karanganyar dengan metode Technique For Order Preference By Similary To Deal Solution (Topsis) merupakan salah satu metode penyelesaian multi Kriteria dimana penerimaan karyawan terdiri dari 5 kriteria dengan boobt yang berbeda-beda yaitu Nilai Ipk(20%), Nilai Tes Tertulis(30%), Nilai Tes Wawancara(25%),Nilai Tes keahlian(15%), Pengalaman kerja(10%). Perancangan sistem menggunakanContext Diagram (CD), Hieararchy Input Proses Output (HIPO), Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Desain Input, Desain Output, Dan Desain Database. Hasil analisis pada pengujian, aplikasi ini dapat melakukan proses seleksi dengan tingkat keakuratan sehingga aplikasi ini layak diterapkan di PT. THE Indonesian language can be a requirement for all foreigners who will stayin Indonesia. Therefore, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) offers BIPA coursesfor IPB students who will learn at the level of S1 and S2. However, the learnerswho attend BIPA IPB courses are dominated by IPB students who have to takea one-semester course before attending their class. This is because college classesare more likely to use Indonesian than any other language. In this study, thefollowing questions were investigated:1) What are the real motivations of foreignstudents who take BIPA , 2). What are their attitudes towards BIPA learning? and3) What are their expectations after following BIPA learning? The population ofthis research was foreign students who study Bahasa Indonesia in IPB. Thedata were collected through questionnaires and observation. BIPA students havepositive motivation to participate in BIPA learning, have a good attitude whenthey are learning, and they hope to be able to teach Indonesian when theyreturn to their home countries. AbstrakBAHASA Indonesia bisa jadi merupakan syarat bagi orang asing yang akan menetap diIndonesia. Untuk itu, Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) berusaha untuk memberikanpelayanan ini dengan menawarkan kursus BIPA bagi mahasiswa IPB yang akan belajarpada tingkat S1 dan S2. Namun, para pembelajar yang mengikuti kursus BIPA IPB inilebih didominasi oleh mahasiswa IPB. Mereka selama satu semester ikut kursus inisebelum mereka masuk ke dalam kelas kuliah.
