This study aims to analyze the influence of career management, organizational commitment, and competence on work effectiveness, as well as examining the moderating role of competence. A quantitative approach was applied using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 86 employee respondents. The results indicate that career management, organizational commitment, and competence have a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness. However, competence does not significantly moderate the relationship between career management or organizational commitment and work effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening career management and enhancing organizational commitment to improve employee work effectiveness.

This study aims to examine the influence of training and team collaboration on job performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan. The research problem is based on the importance of human resources with high job performance to support organizational goals. However, in practice, there are inconsistencies between the implementation of training and team collaboration with the levels of job satisfaction and employee performance. The population of this study consisted of all employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan Utara, totaling 144 individuals. Since the population was less than 200, a census sampling technique (saturated sampling) was used, in which the entire population was included as the sample. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that: (1) training has a positive and significant effect on job performance but does not significantly affect job satisfaction; (2) team collaboration has a positive and significant effect on both job satisfaction and job performance; (3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on job performance; (4) job satisfaction significantly mediates the effect of team collaboration on job performance but does not significantly mediate the relationship between training and job performance. The study concludes that team collaboration is a crucial factor in enhancing both job satisfaction and performance, while the effectiveness of training should be re-evaluated to optimize its impact on employee satisfaction.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and work discipline on employee performance through zero accidents as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Matang Glumpang Dua UP3 Lhokseumawe UID Aceh, with a population and sample of 39 employees, using a saturated sampling technique since the entire population was included as respondents. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that both work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work environment and work discipline also have a positive and significant effect on zero accidents. The zero accident variable is proven to positively and significantly affect employee performance. Additionally, zero accidents significantly mediates the effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a safe work environment and fostering employee discipline to achieve optimal performance.

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and education on employee performance with job promotion as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan Utara. The research is motivated by the importance of improving employee performance, which is not only influenced by individual abilities but also by job promotion opportunities as a form of recognition and career development. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using a questionnaire for data collection. The number of respondents in this study was 69 employees, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (3) education does not have a significant effect on employee performance, (4) education has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (5) job promotion has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) job promotion mediates the relationship between competence and employee performance, and (7) job promotion also mediates the relationship between education and employee performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that competence and education are important factors in supporting job promotion, while job promotion serves as a key variable in enhancing employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan Utara.

This community service activity aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of MSME-based communities in Kota Pari Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The main problems faced by partners are low managerial skills, limited marketing access, and the suboptimal innovation of local products with economic potential. Through an integrated training approach and intensive mentoring, this activity covers aspects of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, product innovation techniques, digital marketing strategies, and simple financial literacy. The implementation method is carried out through initial observations, group discussions, interactive training, and evaluation of activity results. The results of the activity show an increase in entrepreneurial knowledge and skills among participants, as well as the emergence of several follow-up plans for sustainable local business development. This activity is expected to be the first step in establishing an independent and competitive village entrepreneurial ecosystem amidst the dynamics of the digital economy.

The effectiveness of public institution employees is vital in ensuring high-quality service delivery, but obstacles like supervision, engagement, and work environment can impede success. This research examines how Supervision, Employee Engagement, and Work Experience impact Employee Performance at the Pratama Surabaya Tegalsari Tax Office through both individual and combined analysis. Given the importance of employee performance in government agencies for effective public service delivery, this investigation is essential. The study adopts a quantitative methodology utilizing multiple linear regression to assess variable relationships. A census sampling approach was implemented, incorporating all 77 employees from the tax office as participants. Findings reveal that Employee Engagement and Work Experience individually demonstrate significant positive effects on performance, whereas Supervision shows a positive but non-significant impact. When examined collectively, all three variables significantly affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination demonstrates that the model accounts for a considerable proportion of performance variation. These findings shed light the importance of enhancing employee engagement and leveraging work experience as strategic efforts to improve organizational performance.

This study aims to determine 1) The Effect of Competence on Job Satisfaction of Ditpolairud Polda Sumatera Selatan Personnel. 2) The Effect of Motivation on Job Satisfaction of Ditpolairud Polda Sumatera Selatan Personnel. 3) The Effect of Competence on Personnel Performance of Ditpolairud Polda Sumatera Selatan. 4) The Influence of Motivation on the Performance of Ditpolairud Polda South Sumatra Personnel. 5) The Influence of Job Satisfaction on the Performance of Ditpolairud Polda South Sumatra Personnel. This type of research is Associative. The variables used by the researcher are Competence, Motivation, Job Satisfaction, and Performance. The population of this study consisted of all Ditpolairud Polda South Sumatra Personnel, and the Sample in the study amounted to 120 people, selected using cluster random sampling. The data used in this study are primary data collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) merupakan bantuan sosial bersyarat yang ditujukan kepada keluarga kurang mampu. Namun, masih ditemukan ketidaktepatan dalam penentuan penerima bantuan, khususnya di Kecamatan Sinar Peninjauan, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan kelayakan penerima PKH menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes Classifier berdasarkan data sekunder sebanyak 1.840 entri dari tahun 2020–2024 yang mencakup 46 variabel. Hasil klasifikasi menunjukkan 323 individu (87,77%) layak menerima bantuan, sedangkan 45 individu (12,23%) tidak layak. Evaluasi model menggunakan 5-Fold Cross Validation menunjukkan akurasi tertinggi 100%, dengan presisi dan recall juga mencapai 100%. Sementara itu, evaluasi menggunakan Confusion Matrix menunjukkan akurasi 98,08%, recall 93,06%, dan presisi 91,50%. Temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi Dinas Sosial dalam meningkatkan akurasi penentuan penerima PKH secara lebih objektif dan tepat sasaran.

Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan mengkaji terkait fungsi keluarga terhadap pola asuh anak dalam membentuk keluarga bahagia dan selamat dengan menggunakan dua analisis tinjauan yaitu tinjauan/perspektif Alquran dan tinjauan psikologi perkembangan. Pada penelitian ini dari jenisnya termasuk ke dalam penelitian pustaka (library research). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua pendekatan yakni pendekatan Alquran dan pendekatan ilmu psikologi perkembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian library research ini adalah dengan mengumpulkan studi literatur atau data tertulis lalu menyelediki bahan-bahan tersebut yang berkaitan tentang fungsi keluarga dalam menerapkan terhadap pola asuh terhadap perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga fungsi keluarga dalam menerapkan pola asuh terhadap perkembangan anak yaitu fungsi biologis, fungsi pendidikan, dan fungsi religius.Adapun macam-macam pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak, di antaranya adalah pola asuh demokratis, pola asuh otoriter, pola asuh permisif, dan pola asuh penelantar.

Usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) di Tanjung Pura memiliki potensi besar dalam pengolahan ubi lokal menjadi produk keripik yang bernilai jual tinggi. Namun, keterbatasan dalam inovasi produk, strategi branding, dan pemanfaatan pemasaran digital masih menjadi kendala dalam meningkatkan daya saing di pasar yang lebih luas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pelaku UMKM keripik ubi melalui pendekatan diversifikasi produk, penguatan identitas merek (branding), serta pelatihan pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan interaktif, pendampingan teknis produksi, serta implementasi media sosial dan platform digital untuk promosi dan penjualan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam menciptakan variasi produk, mendesain kemasan yang menarik, serta memasarkan produk secara daring. Penguatan branding lokal dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tarik produk serta jangkauan pasar. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan daya saing UMKM keripik ubi di Tanjung Pura dalam menghadapi tantangan pasar modern.
