This study aims to determine (1) if there are the differences of students’ outcomes between students who use GeoGebra learning media and those who do not use GeoGebra learning media; and (2) which learning outcome is better between students wwho use GeoGebra learning media and those who do not use GeoGebra learning media. This research is quantitative research. The population of this study were all XI IIS students with the sample of the study being 60 students of XI IIS 2 and XI IIS 3 which were selected using clustrer random sampling. Data was collected by using a test instrument anda analyzed by using the t-test previously carried out the normality and the homogeneity test. The result of this study were: (1) there are differences of students’ outcomes between students who use GeoGebra learning media and those who do not use GeoGebra learning media and (2) the learning outcome of students who use GeoGebra learning media was better than students who do not use GeoGebra learning media.

Artikel ini membahas kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membangun kemandirian ekonomi perempuan Suku Laut di Pulau Lipan, Kabupaten Lingga. Kegiatan ini memanfaatkan industri rumahan berbasis sumber daya dan potensi lokal. Suku Laut, sebagai masyarakat pesisir yang rentan secara ekonomi, menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dan keterampilan lokal, perempuan Suku Laut diharapkan dapat mengembangkan industri rumahan sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan status ekonomi dan kemandirian mereka. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertempat di Pulau Lipan, Kabupaten Lingga, Kepulauan Riau. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan demo masak. Sosialisasi berfokus pada pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal, sedangkan demonstrasi memasak melibatkan pembuatan empek-empek dari udang dan ikan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa membangun kemandirian ekonomi perempuan Suku Laut melalui industri rumah tangga berbasis sumber daya lokal merupakan langkah positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan melestarikan warisan budaya mereka. Peningkatan ini memberikan harapan baru bagi perempuan Suku Laut di Pulau Lipan untuk mengatasi tantangan ekonomi mereka melalui pengembangan potensi lokal.

This study aims to test three hypotheses: 1) The influence of online learning on intrinsic learning motivation, 2) The influence of online learning on extrinsic learning motivation, and 3) The influence of online learning on learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used is quantitative ex post facto. Forty-two (42) seventh-grade students at Mts Miftahul Huda, Kediri, participated in this study. Data were collected through two types of questionnaires: an online learning questionnaire and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis and t-tests. The results of the study indicate that: 1) There is a significant influence of online learning on intrinsic learning motivation, with an effect of 22%; 2) There is a significant influence of online learning on extrinsic learning motivation, with an effect of 12.4%; 3) There is a significant influence of online learning on learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic, with an effect of 24.3%.

This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of using Quizizz as a Web- Based Learning Media in Reading Comprehension Learning on recount text. This study used a quasi-experimental research design. Class VIII-J and class VIII-K of a State Junior High School in Kediri were used as research samples. Class VIII K was the experimental group consisted of 34 students and taught by using quizizz, and class VIII J was the control class consisted of 34 students and taught by using Gform. Two set of reading tests were used as pretest and posttest research instruments. The data analysis used the Mann Whitney non-parametric test in SPPS to test the hypothesis because the data was not normally distributed. The result shows that the null hypothesis can be rejected because the significant value obtained is 0.000 < 0.05. Quizizz is effective for teaching reading recount text with a large effect size adopted from the Cohen standard (0.8 ≤ 0.84 ≤ 2.0). According to the findings of this study, it can be concluded that Quizizz is an effective media for teaching recount text. It is also suggested that teachers can apply Quizizz as a learning media so that students are interested.

Abstract. This research aims to analyze the awareness stage, capacity building stage, empowerment stage and to describe the factors that support and inhibit community empowerment. The research was carried out at RT 43, Sempaja Timur Subdistrict, with SALAI village administrators, empowerment facilitators, and the community of SALAI RT 43 village. This research used qualitative research methods and used observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on Community Empowerment through the Valued Waste Village Program (SALAI), namely the awareness stage which is carried out by identifying needs and socializing the program to the community, the capacity building stage which is carried out by providing capacity through training programs, the empowerment stage is carried out by giving the community greater opportunities to take responsibility responsible for program sustainability. The supporting factors in community empowerment are community motivation and government policy, while the inhibiting factors in implementing the valuable waste village program are infrastructure.

The absolute estimate for non-exclusive breastfed babies in West Java Province is 384,270 babies. The success of exclusive breastfeeding cannot be separated from the support of the people around him. This support needs to be built with training for the community to promote the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. The research design is a mixed method, namely qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research with in-depth interviews and quasi-experimental quantitative research with a one group pre-test post test design by providing a form of intervention, namely training. The population is entirely female in Bogor City. Samples were taken in qualitative research using a snowball technique until the results were saturated, quantitative research consisted of two groups: Ordinary and Extraordinary  mothers in the City of Bogor. The research sample was 5 people using qualitative methods and 35 people using quantitative methods. The qualitative method statistical test uses content analysis, the quantitative method uses Wilcoxon test analysis. As a result of in-depth interviews, it was found that the materials needed to make a pocket book as an educational training medium were breastfeeding techniques, communication techniques and knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. The results of quantitative research show that there is a significant relationship between training with a p value of less than 0.05 on knowledge in the elderly group, attitudes in the cadre group, and meaningful motivation skills in all groups, namely cadre groups, community leaders, elderly people, ordinary women. Training/education using pocket books is able to increase abilities as a motivator for exclusive breastfeeding in the city of Bogor. There is a need to follow up on the use of pocket books and encourage mothers who have been trained to become exclusive breastfeeding motivators to be able to motivate pregnant women to successfully breastfeed exclusively.

The pregnancy period is a condition that makes the mother's life more meaningful and the use of spirituality as a strong coping mechanism, thus it is necessary to provide services to increase the mother's spirituality starting from the pregnancy period. The aim of this research is to identify the spiritual needs of pregnant women. This research is qualitative using descriptive method. Data collection with focus group discussions with clergy from five religions (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism and Buddhism) and the midwives based on the Patients Spiritual Needs Assessment Scale. Data was analyzed using conventional content analysis. Spiritual needs based on spiritual informants were identified as follows: patience, meaning that pregnant women are able to endure things they don't like, discomfort during pregnancy and continue to try with a pleased and pleased heart and surrender to God. Gratitude means that as a pregnant mother she expresses gratitude to God, does not complain and expresses feelings of relief, joy and praise to God and doing good for what she has. The pleased is interpreted as meaning that pregnant women can accept everything that happens happily and realize that everything that happens is God's will. The ability to learn lessons means that pregnant women can use the condition of pregnancy as a lesson and take advantage of it and then use it as a basis for moving on in life. The results of consultation with language experts found that the answer options used a Likert scale, the content was related to the concept of pregnancy and spiritual concepts, several items were made unfavorable as a control function. The results of identifying spiritual needs are used as the basis for proposals to improve holistic midwifery care.

At RSUD Jayapura, from 2021 to 2023, 62 babies were born to HIV-positive mothers. However, no prior study has evaluated whether all these babies were tested for HIV. Babies born directly into the delivery room without passing through the VCT clinic often face challenges in follow-up, especially with high dropout rates in the Prevention of Mother-To-Child HIV Transmission (PMTCT) program. This study aimed to evaluate HIV transmission in babies enrolled in the PMTCT program at RSUD Jayapura and assess the involvement of healthcare providers (doctors, midwives, nurses, counselors, and lab technicians) in the program. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative (case-control design) and qualitative (content analysis of in-depth interviews). The quantitative sample included 64 babies born to HIV-positive mothers who participated in the PMTCT program from 2021 to 2023. The qualitative sample comprised 5 healthcare providers involved in the program. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square tests for quantitative analysis and content analysis for qualitative data. Chi-Square analysis showed a significant association with a p-value of 0.00 (<0.05) and an Odds Ratio (OR) of 217.000, indicating a strong impact of the PMTCT program in preventing HIV transmission. In-depth interviews with the VCT head revealed many cases were lost to follow-up, especially those whose families moved out of the city. Babies who remained in the area were mostly HIV-negative by 18 months. Interviews with midwives highlighted that HIV-positive mothers with low viral loads typically delivered via caesarean section, though they faced delayed wound healing and higher infection risks. No discrimination was observed in room usage for HIV-positive mothers.

The advancement of technology has an impact on numerous aspects, including assessment. Students tend to feel bored, nervous, and anxious while doing the test. Consequently, the educators are required to create a meaningful atmosphere in the classroom. Kahoot can be used as an alternative assessment tool. The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge about the students’ voices and experiences with the use of Kahoot as an assessment tool in their English grammar class at the end of each of the fourteen meetings. This research was conducted at a private university in Riau with seventy-five participants in the English language education study program. This research was descriptive-qualitative by applying a questionnaire and interview. The findings show that most of the respondents are giving positive responses to using Kahoot as an assessment tool. The result of the research revealed that Kahoot is more preferred by the students than a paper-based test, which offers challenges, an interactive interface, sound, and music, helps students focus on the subject, and increases their interest and motivation. Meanwhile, the researcher found that the weaknesses of Kahoot are the time limit given and the unstable internet connection. Overall, the researcher suggests employing Kahoot as an assessment tool to boost students’ engagement.

Pendidikan lingkungan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian mahasiswa terhadap permasalahan lingkungan. Salah satu metode pendidikan lingkungan di perguruan tinggi adalah outdoor learning yang mengutamakan pengembangan pengalaman mahasiswa untuk berinterkasi dengan alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa tentang penggunaan metode outdoor learning dalam pendidikan lingkungan. Persepsi adalah penilaian mahasiswa tentang manfaat outdoor learning untuk pengembangan kreativitas, pengembangan sikap, pengembangan perilaku, penguasaan materi, ketertarikan, komunikasi dosen dan mahasiswa, pengalaman belajar dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar. Kajian kami ini juga menguraikan capaian pembelajaran serta hubungannya dengan persepsi mahasiswa tentang outdoor learning. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif survey dengan responden sebanyak 75 mahasiswa pendidikan guru biologi di Sulawesi Selatan. Pra eksperimen dilakukan dengan memberikan pembelajaran dengan model outdoor pada responden sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Peneliti selanjutnya menguji persepsi mereka melalui kuesioner. Capaian pembelajaran adalah penilaian pengetahuan dan sikap belajar yang ditunjukkan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa menilai metode outdoor learning mengembangkan pengalaman belajar secara baik dan sebaliknya, pengembangan perilaku lingkungan dinilai sangat rendah dalam outdoor learning. Hasil analisis capaian pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa pada umumnya memperoleh pengetahuan dan sikap belajar yang tinggi. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa dengan capaian pembelajaran.
