This study aims to measure the effect of leadership styles, organizational commitment to performance with the mediation of motivation in the civil service of the Faculty of Universities in Surakarta. The study population was a civil servant employees in the faculty. The sample is determined by the saturated sample technique, the entire employee staff respondents as many as 76 people. Methods of data collection techniques used are questionnaire. Data analysis method used is the method of path analysis (path analysis). From the results of this study concluded that the style of leadership, organizational commitment and motivation of jointly have a significant influence on employee performance. While the results of the t test of leadership style variable result that leadership style has no effect on the motivation and performance of the organization's commitment and motivation.Variabel partially have a significant influence on employee performance. With the result that the path analysis variables mediate motivational leadership style on employee performance. Motivation also mediate organizational commitment to employee performance. Judging from the coefficient (R Square) we can conclude that the motivation was influenced variable leadership style and organizational commitment of 0.46% while the rest influenced by other factors beyond the study variables. Performance is influenced by the motivation of employees by 44% and the rest influenced by other factors beyond the variables. Performance of employees affected by variables of leadership style and organizational commitment by 36% while 64% is variable - the other variables outside the study.

This research aims to find out the effect of fundamental factors bank as measured using the CAMEL ratio to changes the amount of deposits and interest rates. CAMEL ratios consists of capital as measured by capital adequacy ratio (CAR), asset quality as measured by non performing loan (NPL), management quality as measured by non-interest expenditures to total assets (NIETA), earnings as measured by return on assets (ROA), liquidity as measured by cash to assets (CTA). Research conducted in Indonesia is also used to find out if there are differences in the behavior of market discipline at the time of a full guarantee, Rp. 100 million guarantee, and Rp 2 billion guarantee. The results showed while guaranteeing full there was no fundamental factors influential to changes in bank deposits and interest rates, while the granting of Rp. 100 million CAR and CTA have significant positive effect to changes deposits and significant negatife to interest rates, and than NIETA has significant negative to changes deposits and significant positive to interest rates, Rp 2 billion guarantee CAR and ROA have positive effect to changes in deposits and significant negative to interest rates. Market discipline occurs at the time of the granting of Rp 2 billion and is increasing at the moment of granting decrase to Rp. 100 million, indicated by number of variables that has a significant effect to changes in deposit and interest rate. whereas when full guarantee market discipline does not occur.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan persepsi masyarakat tentang pengobatan Tradisional dan mistik, jenis pengobatan tradisional dan mistis, faktor penyebab masyarakat mempercayai pengobatan tradisional dan mistik, serta dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan ketika warga yang sakit tidak berobat ke dokter, dan upaya pemerintah setempat dalam mengubah persepsi masyarakat Nagari Suayan tentang pengobatan tradisional dan mistik. Jenis penelitian adalah jenis studi kasus. Tekhnik pemilihan informan menggunakan metode (purposive sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: masyarakat di Nagari Suayan lebih percaya berobat ke dukun dari pada ke dokter dikarenakan pandangan mereka yang sudah mendarah daging bahwa berobat ke dukun yang notabene mengobati menggunakan tumbuhan alami tidak memiliki efek samping dan tidak memakai zat kimia, serta tidak banyak mengeluarkan biaya. Dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan ketika warga tidak datang ke dokter ketika sakit adalah: sakitnya tambah parah, ada beberapa yang meninggal dunia, Upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah untuk mengubah persepsi masyarakat: dengan memberikan penyuluhan dampak positif berobat ke dokter.

Pemerintah telah memberlakukan Kurikulum 2013 sebagai upaya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan memiliki ciri khas dalam penggunaan pendekatan scientific/ilmiah pada proses pembelajarannya. Tidak mudah untuk menerapkan pendekatan scientific dengan baik dan benar khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika. Banyak aspek yang menjadi ukuran keberhasilan penerapan tersebut salah satunya aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan scientific dengan subjek siswa kelas XI SMA Labschool yang ditentukan berdasarkan kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi terhadap kegiatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan hasil wawancara yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk ketiga subjek komponen yang belum terlaksana dengan baik adalah mengkomunikasikan. Aktivitas yang berlangsung hanya sebatas berdiskusi dengan teman sekelompok, sedangkan mengkomunikasikan yang dituntut dalam pendekatan scientific memiliki beberapa kegiatan yang harus di laksanakan. Hal itu terjadi karena beberapa faktor diantaranya waktu yang tersedia tidak cukup untuk melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut sehingga terlewatkan.. Ketiga subjek memiliki aktivitas yang berbeda dalam setiap kegiatan dan belum seluruhnya sesuai dengan deskripsi yang diharapkan dalam pendekatan scientific.

Abstrak? Pendataan dari Penyebaran alumni kurang terdata dengan baik, pihak manajemen belum menyediakan suatu sistem yang dapat mewadahi interaksi antara Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (FIKOM) Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI) dengan alumninya. Alumni merupakan salah satu dari indikator dalam penilaian akreditasi sebuah lembaga pendidikan, maka dipandang perlu untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap sebaran alumni. Sehingga banyak alumni berdasarkan kelompok sebarannya mulai dari tingkat kecamatan, kabupaten serta tingkat propinsi masih belum terpetakan dengan baik, dengan adanya sebaran pemetaan ini nantinya terlihat jelas sejauh mana alumni dari FIKOM tersebar. Berangkat dari permasalahan ini penulis ingin membuat suatu Sistem Informasi Geografis Berbasis Web untuk Pemetaan Sebaran Alumni Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia dengan harapan nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk silaturahmi serta mengetahui posisi dari setiap alumni berada. Sistem mampu memberikan informasi tentang Pemetaan Sebaran Alumni Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia persebaran alumni, hal ini terlihat dalam aplikasi yang ditampilakan melalui SIG. Sistem dapat digunakan untuk menganalisa dari sebaran alumni dengan catatan seluruh data terinput dengan lengkap. Hasil yang dikeluarkan dari sistem adalah berupa peta lokasi dari setiap sebaran para alumni yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan kategori yang hendak diketahui diataranya, provinsi, kabupaten/kota, persentase tahun lulusan, profesi dari alumni tersebut. Jumlah total alumni yang telah dilahirkan oleh FIKOM dari lulusan mulai dari tahun 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2015 adalah sebanyak 374 orang. Kata kunci: Pemetaan, SIG, FIKOM, alumni,UUI

One of the most significant parameter in air conditioning problems is air humidity. A porous media can be used as a heat exchanger component in order to increase the heat transfer performance which is significantly depends on the heat flux values inside of them. To determine the heat flux value, a following test section was modeled in this research. A vapor passed through a channel whereas a particular porous media made of active carbon acted as its heat exchanger media. However, the sudden enlargement at the inlet of channel could affect the homogeneity of temperature distributions and also caused some several turbulencies. The research method is vapor flowed over the porous media for 60 minute with temperature of 300oC.The vapor velocity is varied from 1 m/s to 3 m/s and the step ratio also varied between 0 until 1.66. From the experiment shows the bigger step ratio and vapor velocity results the bigger heat flux and air humidity after passed through the low porous media. Heat transfer was occured in porous media including convection heat transfer with the value of Gr/Re2 smaller than 1.

The aim of present study is to observe behavior of heat fluxes in porous media during it condenses the extracted-moist from a vapor related to its heat- and mass-transfer. This study applies two types of porous media which have difference in thermal conductivity, and it considers various ambient-temperatures. The test is conducted by streaming a laminar saturated vapor over porous glass-beads and alumina-balls media inside a duct, where the outside of the duct is treated by the ambient-temperatures. The vapor with various temperatures is forced tangentially over the upper-face of the media, whereas temperature of bottom of the media is kept to be constant. As for treat-I, the ambient temperatures are maintained at a constant value, hence, temperature ratio of the vapor to the ambient is non-unity. Furthermore, for treat-II, the ambient temperatures are increased with increasing the vapor temperatures such as the temperature ratio of the vapor to the ambient becomes unity. From this study, it can be informed that the heat fluxes on the porous media play a key role on condensing the extracted-moist. However, the gradual increase of the condensate inside the porous media decreases effective thermal conductivity on the bed of alumina balls and glass beads, and it further generates the un-steady heat transfer of the condensation.Keywords : heat fluxes, thermal conductivity, saturated vapor

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of pressure and woven angle on the tensile strength of natural fiber laminate composite. Pandanus tectorius and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) was used as natural fiber and matrix, respectively. The epoxy adhesive joint is used to connect between natural fiber and matrix. The pressure time of 10 s,15 s, 30 s and the pressure of 20 N/mm2, 40 N/mm2, 60 N/mm2 were used in this study. In addition, the angle of the 0o / 90o and 45o / 45o woven angle is used as the initial reference for fiber orientation before pressure is applied. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the addition of a pressure of 60 N / mm2 and pressure time of 30 s has the highest tensile strength both at the angle of 0o / 90o and 45o / 45o. However, the tensile strength at the angle of 0o / 90o is higher that 45o / 45o. In addition, the number of adhesives decreased with increasing the pressure which will lead to delaminating.

The duration of fuel-air diffusion in the 4 stroke combustion engine is relatively short, which is 0.02 seconds at 3000 rpm so that at high rotation the level of homogeneity of the fuel-air mixture becomes low. The addition of steps in a 4 stroke combustion engine to a 6 stroke combustion engine is expected to increase the duration of mass diffusion and temperature in the air-fuel mixture. So that the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture increase and more expansion power of the combustion results. Engine performance testing by reducing the engine speed of 400 rpm at the initial condition of the throttle valve opening by 30% then the results of the performance of the two motors will be compared. The test results show an increase in power and torque in a 6 stroke combustion engine compared to a 4 stroke combustion engine at the same rotation conditions of 15%. As for the value of the specific fuel consumption effective (SFCe), thermal efficiency, and exhaust gas emissions of Hydrocarbon (HC) 4 stroke fuel is still better.
