Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran mahasiswa Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SD Muhammadiyah 3 Unggulan Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 mahasiswa PLP, 2 guru pamong, dan 43 peserta didik kelas 6 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PLP berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui empat aspek utama: (1) implementasi metode pembelajaran inovatif, (2) pengembangan media pembelajaran kreatif, (3) pembentukan hubungan emosional positif dengan peserta didik, dan (4) integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Indikator peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik terlihat dari meningkatnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, meningkatnya kehadiran peserta didik, dan meningkatnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kehadiran mahasiswa PLP memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dan berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang membawa inovasi pembelajaran di sekolah. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan tinggi dan sekolah untuk memaksimalkan manfaat program PLP.

Airplanes provide comfort and speed for their users, especially for those who have limited time. The number of passengers has continued to increase in the last few months at Ahmad Yani International Airport, so a forecast is needed in making decisions to predict the number of passengers in order to maximize existing performance. The data used is secondary data on the number of airplane passengers at Ahmad Yani International Airport from 2012 to 2022 obtained from PT Angkasa Pura 1 (Persero). The Holt Winters Exponential Smoothing method is used because it aligns with the data pattern that includes trends and seasonality in the research, and it has a low level of accuracy. In this study also used the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method, apart from being a relatively new method, it has a fast learning speed and has low accuracy. This study aims to predict the number of airplane passengers at Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang using the Holt Winters Exponential Smoothing and ELM methods. The results of the analysis show that the MAPE value in the Holt Winters Exponential Smoothing method is 8,18% and in the ELM method using 12 input neurons and 43 neurons in the hidden layer, a MAPE of 6,04% is obtained. so that the ELM method is the right method for predicting the number of airplane passengers at Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang.

The goal of the study is to determine how taking oral quizzes affects students' ability to speak. Pre-experimental design with a single group pretest-posttest was employed in this study. The SMAN 4 Makassar second grade pupils for the academic year 2023–2024 served as the research population. Purposive sampling was used in this study, and the sample consisted of 20 students from Class XI.10 at SMAN 4 Makassar. The study's conclusions showed that after receiving treatment, students' speaking abilities significantly improved. The difference in mean scores between the pre-test (60.75) and post-test (69.20) indicates this. Students' speaking skills were able to increase as a result of the oral quiz technique, as evidenced by the mean score of the students. Students may be required by this method to actively participate in their education, particularly when it comes to speaking skills. Additionally, teachers can utilize this tactic as a substitute or a guide to pique students' interest in the learning process..Key words-- Speaking Skill; Oral Quizzes; Strategy

This research aims to improve the reading comprehension of students at SMKN 6 Makassar using the scaffolded reading method. The research method used was pre-experimental with one experimental group. The research subject was class XI fashion 3 as the experimental group. The research data is collected by test. The experimental group was given a pre-test and post-test to measure students' abilities in reading comprehension. The population of this research was class XI students majoring in Fashion at SMKN 6 Makassar. The sample of this research was 33 students of class XI Fashion 3. The results of this research is significance score for the learning outcome variable is 0.000 which is lower than significance degree is <0.05. It can be concluded there is a significant influence of using scaffolded reading method on the reading comprehension.Keyword: Reading Comprehension, Scaffolded Reading Method

This study aimed to discover suitable types of online learning to be implemented at SMPN 3 Tandukkalua. The researcher applied descriptive qualitative method to achieve the research objective. The data were collected through interview. The subjects of the research were 2 english teachers at SMPN 3Tandukkalua. The subjects were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the result of the study, the teachers perceived that Asynchronous learning is suitable to be implemented at SMPN 3 Tandukkalua in online English learning. There are some reasons why they chose Asynchronous learning,namely it is flexibel, quick and easy feedback,enhancing learning effectiveness. It is also found that the teaching methods used by the teachers in asynchronous online English learning are Self Directed Learning method combined with Expository method. The use of this method enhance students’activeness in learning,students’ motivation in learning,students’ independence,students’ creativity and problem-solving skill.Keywords: Online learning, Self Directed Learning, Expository method.

The objectives of this research were: (1) to investigate rhetorical moves employed in high-reputable ELT research article abstracts; (2) to investigate research gap strategies employed in high-reputable ELT research article abstracts; (3) to explore how do authors establish rhetorical moves and research gap strategies using linguistic features in high-reputable ELT research article abstracts. This research involved mixed method analysis. The source of the data consisted of 100 research article abstracts published in high-reputable journals. The researcher applied Hyland’s (2000) framework for analyzing rhetorical moves and Arianto’s (2021) framework for analyzing research gap strategies. The researcher read and code each of the segments within the abstract that characterize each of the moves. The result of this research reveals that: (1) the most frequent move was product moves with the most frequent moves pattern I-P-M-Pr-C; (2) the most frequent research gap strategy was the strategy-2 (revealing limitation of the previous research); (3) the linguistic features addressed in rhetorical moves and research gap strategies were indicated by the using of discourse markers, phrases, and tenses emerged in every segment within the abstracts. The researcher found newly emerged form within the product moves, called as ‘evaluating findings’ which may be worth considering for the future studies. The researcher also suggests the future researchers to explore the study of centrality claims or any promotional techniques used by authors in promoting research articles through abstracts. Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) adalah salah satu faktor keberhasilan ASI eksklusif, dengan IMD ibu semakin percaya diri untuk memberikan ASI sehingga ibu dapat memberikan ASI eksklusif. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada ibu hamil tentang Inisiasi Menyusu Dini Melalui (IMD) melalui edukasi berbasis keluarga dalam upaya pencapaian ASI Eksklusif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Action Research dengan pendekatan program tindak partisipatif dengan bentuk edukasi kesehatan melalui penyuluhan pada ibu hamil dan keluarga sebanyak 23 peserta. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat di Wilayah Kelurahan Liabuku Kecamatan Bungi Kota Baubau memuaskan, dan hasil yang diharapkan bisa dipenuhi. Adapun hasil yang dapat dicapai setelah edukasi adalah 74% pengetahuan ibu kurang pada pretest namun setelah post test pengetahuan ibu menjadi 90%, dan pada evaluasi sikap ibu tentang IMD 100% melakukan IMD dan 100% dukungan keluarga

Anemia during pregnancy is a health problem that has serious impacts on both the mother and fetus, such as increasing the risk of preterm delivery, low birth weight, and delivery complications. One preventive measure is the provision of iron tablets; however, pregnant women’s adherence to consuming them is often influenced by their knowledge of anemia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between pregnant women’s knowledge of anemia and adherence to iron tablet consumption at Bener Kelipah Community Health Center, Bener Kelipah Subdistrict, Bener Meriah Regency, in 2025. This research employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach involving 32 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters, selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results showed that 69.7% of respondents had low knowledge and did not regularly consume iron tablets, while 31.3% had sufficient knowledge but still did not consume them regularly. The chi-square test revealed a significant relationship between pregnant women’s knowledge of anemia and adherence to iron tablet consumption (p = 0.001; p < 0.05). It is concluded that pregnant women’s knowledge influences adherence to iron tablet consumption; therefore, comprehensive nutritional and health education from healthcare providers is essential to improve adherence and prevent anemia during pregnancy.

Present perfect tense adalah salah satu elemen penting dan khusus dalam tata bahasa Inggris karena bisa menghubungkan kejadian di masa lalu dengan kondisi sekarang. Tense ini lebih dari sekadar menunjukkan bahwa suatu aksi telah dilakukan di masa lalu; ia juga menekankan pengaruh atau relevansi dari tindakan itu terhadap keadaan saat ini. Dengan pola yang terdiri dari kata kerja bantu "have/has" diikuti oleh bentuk past participle, present perfect tense memiliki banyak fungsi krusial dalam berkomunikasi, termasuk menyatakan pengalaman, perubahan yang terjadi seiring waktu, serta tindakan yang terjadi secara berulang dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Memahami tense ini secara mendalam membantu pelajar untuk menyampaikan makna dengan lebih akurat dan beragam, baik dalam pembicaraan sehari-hari maupun dalam situasi formal. Selain hanya sebuah aturan tata bahasa, penguasaan present perfect tense mencerminkan tingkat kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik dan menyeluruh, karena tense ini sering dipakai dalam banyak jenis komunikasi, dari percakapan biasa hingga diskusi ilmiah dan profesional. Oleh karena itu, mempelajari cara penggunaan dan penerapannya dengan baik dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kefasihan dan keakuratan dalam berbahasa Inggris.

Pendidikan sejatinya adalah sebuah proses perubahan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sikap serta tingkah laku manusia ke arah kedewasaan. Walaupun tujuan yang baik ini seringkali tidak didukung oleh perencanaan yang tepat dan jelas. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kita semua tahu bahwa pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan penting yang tidak dapat diabaikan. Jika pendidikan dilakukan dengan rencana yang matang, itu akan menjadi langkah penting untuk membangun masa depan yang lebih cerah dan juga memberikan efek yang baik bagi perkembangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman menyeluruh mengenai esensi pendidikan, mulai dari definisi, tujuan, manfaat, hingga perannya dalam kehidupan sosial. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan metode studi pustaka, peneliti menganalisis berbagai sumber terpercaya dari artikel-artikel ilmiah di Google Scholar yang saling berkaitan dan mendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemahaman komprehensif tentang pendidikan, seseorang dapat lebih menghargai proses belajar sepanjang hidup. Temuan ini juga menegaskan bahwa pendidikan bukan hanya sekadar pengalihan pengetahuan, melainkan juga investasi jangka panjang untuk membangun karakter yang berkualitas dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat di sekitarnya. Studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman baru tentang betapa pentingnya membangun pendidikan yang terencana dan memotivasi setiap individu untuk terus belajar di berbagai peluang yang ada dalam kehidupan.
